Mary Knudtson 93, Eleva, died Sunday, April 24, 1983 at the Osseo Area Hospital.
The former Mary Evenson, she was born March 3, 1890 in Chimney Rock, rural Eleva, to Mr and Mrs Even Evenson. She married Charles Knudtson Dec. 11, 1909 in Chimney Rock. She was a lifetime member of Chimney Rock Lutheran Church and lived in the Eleva area all her life.
Survivors include: four sons, Milford, Gilmanton, John, Strum, Orvin, Eau Claire, and Raymond, Eleva: Three daughters, Mrs. Joe (Alvina) Helgeson, Sr., Mrs Clarence (Minnie) Johnson, both of Eleva, and Mrs Frank (Helma) Heath, Osseo; one brother, Alvin Mondovi; 51 grandchildren; 106 great grandchildren and 15 great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Chimney Rock Lutheran Church, the Rev Calvin Thoreson Officiating. Burial will be in the Church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Kjentvet & Son Funeral Home, Eleva, from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday and until 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Kjentvet and Son Funeral Home, Eleva, and from noon to services at the church.In Memory of Mrs. Mary Knudtson.
