I'm 47 from Tampa, FL. I currently live in Strawberry Plains, Tennessee (outside of Knoxville).

I've been on Find A Grave for 22 years now. I don't remember how exactly I came across it, but I love this site. Everyone in my family has been cremated so we don't have anywhere to visit so to speak. It's nice to be able to log on & let the whole family, no matter where they live, visit memorials.

So far, I've only added my family with the exception of one person. He was a local sportscaster with great humor & wit that I admired. I was truly saddened when he passed away.

Anyway, like I said earlier, I live in Strawberry Plains,TN now & there are a lot of cemeteries around here that have some old graves. I love to go through & read the info on the headstones. When I was a kid, my step dad took me to a lot of famous graves. No matter what state we went to, we always had to go to cemeteries. Seems I spent quite a bit of time there, lol. It creeped me out at the time, but I think it's where my interest started.
