Bio

I got seriously involved in my geneology when my father passed in March 2009. I am still a newbee to all of this but I am trying hard and making many new friends traversing the many avenues of research. Starting my search while living in Southern California and now from Oklahoma I have to rely on others for much of my information for which I am eternally greatful.

I have many, many ancestors in Mower, Goodhue, and Olmsted Co, Minnesota & Charleston Co, S.C. As well as the states of Iowa, Ohio, Pennsylvania & Massachusetts but the going is very slow.

Surnames : Gee, Rupe, Shaw, Leason, Eggleston, Kraft, Wohlers, Buhs, Hawkins, Fallon, Ryan, Cunningham.

Any photo taken and posted by myself is free to use. No need to ask for permission to reuse nor is acknowledgment required in it's reuse. Once anything hits the internet it is out in the world much like our journey thru life and it is just as hard to control. So feel free to enhance your family trees and records with what I have.

I will gladly transfer any memorials that I have taken over from Fallen Graver DVDARLAND if they are not a relative of mine.

Dear Ancestor
Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
So many years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.
