Time moves quickly, while I've been a member for over 14 years to this site, I have been working on my family genealogy in spurts for quite some time. I appreciate all of the help people from this site have given me!

Looks like I'm following descendents (YOUNG & SHAW) linked to the Revolutionary War & Mayflower. Exciting!

Today, while entering Woodside interments, the counter entered/turned to 14,000 memorials in the cemetery.

Now that I am doing photo requests, I have developed a deeper respect for those who have been doing it for a long time. It's a lot of work but - quite rewarding at the same time. By following the family name in research and headstone photos, one feels a kinship to that family.

I do ask one favor of anyone who would like to use photos from my memorials. Please ask permission before you "borrow" my images to use in your own tree (it helps me find connections for my own research) and, at the very least, cite my name as the researcher and owner of the image @ Find-a-Grave. Do that as a courtesy to me, since I did do the leg work & am sharing.

Feel free to leave flowers or sponsor any of the memorials. All ladies love flowers. I try to leave flowers @ memorials for young children and veterans.

Best of luck to us all!
