As a newcomer to findagrave.com, I have found it very interesting and what a great way to remember loved ones. Look forward to memorializing as many of my relatives as I can.

It's kinda sad to walk through the cemeteries and see so many headstones with little or no inscription left, or the headstones have fallen over, are broken or completely gone. We need to record as much information as possible before it's gone forever.

I don't have a problem with you using any of the photos I take and post to your memorials for your other family history projects, just ask. If your going to use them for profit, then there is a problem.

It's amazing how a few people say that it's not about the number game when asked to have your relatives transfered to you and they refuse. If it's not so, then why don't they honor your request? I understood it's about helping others with their family history, but apparently that's not so !!!

When entering memorials, please check for correct dates and spelling of names to avoid creating duplicates...

Don't think of them as gone away
their journey's just begun
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one

Just think of them as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days or years

Think of how they must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away

And think of them as living
in the hearts of those they touched
for nothing loved is ever lost
and they were loved so much !!!!
