Bio

My interest in documenting cemetery headstones began with using Find-A-Grave and other online resources as tools for my own research. Since I love creating and working with databases, digital photography and genealogy, what better combination!

I've been researching my own family history for over 40 years and have authored and self published over 8 volumes of my family's history. These volumes contain hundreds of family surnames. Although most of my family lines stop at the water's edge, many others are connected back into medieval mists in both the UK and continental Europe.

I've taken adult and college level genealogy classes and have taught genealogy at local senior centers. I'm a member of the New England Historic Genealogical Society, Historic Northampton, and the Silicon Valley Genealogical Computer Group. I'm a life member of both the Parsons and Strong Family Associations of New England. Currently, I'm the Historian for the Parsons Family Association.

In my research, if I can't find the information I'm looking for in my own reference library, I have access to 4 excellent genealogical libraries in the area and many online tools.

Please submit any additions, corrections, biographies, or family links to me under "Suggest a correction or provide additional information" on the memorial page. I'm more than happy to make corrections and add relationship links to memorials under my control. Please be assured, I do most updates, corrections and links within a day or so.
