I'm a Mississippi guy, although born in California during WWII, I was raised in Mississippi. I'm a land and offshore surveyor and have worked all over the SE USA. I have lived in South Louisiana for the last twenty-eight years, doing the offshore surveying. I'm the father of three and grandfather of two. I was into genealogy for a several years, lost interest in it about 10 - 15 years ago and just recently got back into it as retirement approaches.
