I grew up in South Dakota, lived in LA, CA for a year in my early 20's & came back home.
I've been married for 28 years & have 2 beautiful children 1 young man 27 yrs old & one young lady 21 yrs. old. My son & his wife will be having a baby in January, so I will be a grandma for the first time.
I really feel that our ancestry is part of who & what we are. My mother & father were separated until they died (never divorced) & I didn't really get to know alot of the Hegdahls, Dragseths & Olsons on my dad side. My mom's relatives live or lived in New York & Scotland.
It was fantastic to actually find a picture of the steam ship my great grandfather Hegdahl came over on. Also my great grandmother Kari Dragseth.
That is all that I can think of right now, except this findagrave.com is amazing.
