Hi,
Thanks for visiting. I am starting some family pages so that we can keep them alive in our memories.

Thank you to all of the great people who have fulfilled my photo requests or helped me out with time, info, or photos. I live FAR from most of you and I wouldn't be very far in my quest to document family members without your help.

Thanks to the person who posted my loved ones. You really inspired me to return that favor whenever I can.

I try very hard to keep reflections of my feet, and shadows out of the photos I take, however, sometimes it is unavoidable. Sorry if a sunny day and black stone conspired to make bad photos, I really do try!

Many of the old photos or information I post are from the Minster Historical Society or other old books or boxes.

If you have photos to share, I am always interested in seeing them. My philosophy is that "when you know a person's face, you know at least a little bit of their story."

If you are going to use any of my photos on Ancestry.com or the like, please give me an appropriate citation. Findagrave suggests that it be in this format: Bio Author. "John Doe". Find A Grave. 6-1-2008. Many of my copywrited photos, descriptions, as well as my assembled history of the Bergman family have been posted to a public ancestry tree without my permission. This was very disrespectful. I spend hundreds of hours trying to help this site out, please don't act in a manner which discourages this.

Finally, if there is one thing that every visitor to findagrave should take away its this-- even if it cost more, buy the GRANITE stone!
