I was born on 17 Aug. 1940, in Beloit, Ks., raised and educated in Cawker City, Ks. I worked in agriculture most of my adult life as a sales correspondent for a farm machinery manufacturer, owned a livestock equipment business for 15 years and before retiring worked as a farm laborer for 20 years. I've been married to my lovely wife (pictured) for 28 years. During that time we operated a small cow herd after she retired from banking. We sold the herd and now are enjoying full retirement.
