Fallen Graver

Sadly, Rose Wenstrom has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.

Bio

I'm the 3rd generation born in Wyoming on my dad's side, and button-busting proud of it! My new hobby: documenting those who came before me in this state. I've always loved roaming cemeteries, especially very old ones. I can imagine the people and their stories.

My research in the Powell, Wyoming area has become such a passion, that as soon as the entire cemetery has been added to FindAGrave, I will begin doing physical research for more details of those buried there. Then I hope to find a way to share these people in stories, at local schools and events, and perhaps a book!

I love to share information I find for existing memorials, and I try to put as much information on each memorial that I can find. It's an honor to make each memorial as personal as possible. Life is so precious, and everyone's life is a story worth telling. My biggest goal for the memorials I care for, is to link them with their parents. If I can do that, then I'm helping someone find their ancestry. :)

I give permission to anyone who wants to copy and save my pictures on Find A Grave to their own computers, and to ancestry.com and other ancestry websites, or a personal website. However, if you'd like to use one of my pictures for a published document, please ask for my permission. Thanks!

I will transfer any memorial that is not my family, Just ask and please tell me your relation. This is a wonderful website to find family and do research.

God's blessings to you,

Rose Davis Wenstrom
