RE: Jimmy Burke
I think you're right.. although they both died in 1996, James J Burke was interned on April 18.. DOD was April 13.. and yes your DOB is correct.. All we know for sure is their date of death especially when they die in prison. Another issue was Burke’s real last name being Conway.. Most gangsters lie about their true age, their name etc. making their graves difficult to locate. Their RAP sheets often consist of multiple names which is why they are only identified by their NYSID.

Are you sure he was born and died on the same day? I had looked and found no death record for him on the index, which usually records such births/deaths even if the child only lived for a few minutes. I am not doubting you, just curious about your source. The California Death Index does not include stillborns, only babies who would have had a birth record and death certificate issued.

Bill T. Whitis
RE: Robert & Mattie Newhouse
Upon closer review of his obituary, he had a memorial service not a funeral. And no pallbearers are listed. This generally indicates a cremation, not burial. His ashes could be still in an urn, placed with his family in Hallsville, or placed anywhere really. But there was no stone for him at Pleasant Hill as of February 2015.

RE: Robert & Mattie Newhouse
I was there a few weeks ago in 2015. If he died in 2014, it's doubtful he's there. I walked each row and photographed all markers.

RE: Romaine Pierce Orthwein
I feel quite sure there was NOT a stone for James Busch Orthwein near-by, or I would have added it.

RE: Isabelle Collin Dufresne
Thank you .. She was my friend but we had an argument exactly one year before she died. She criticized me for photographing graves. She said I "should photograph life".

I would be pleased to add the information you provided. Can you please give me the memorial number as I have created over 36,000 memorials and would like to assure I have the correct person.

Bernard Johnson
David Lotz
Don't you think it's more important to have a photo of David's grave visible then to have to open up the whole set? I don't think a lot of people go that far.

Thanks
Hey,

It just dawned on me that thanks to you, betty Amann has a Memorial here on Find A Grave.

She is one of my favourite Actors, for what sparse acting on film, She is sure one I love to see on the screen.

aka for Jack De Leon
Hi, was doing some research on Jack De Leon, thought I'd drop you a line saying he also performed as Christopher Weeks, releasing two comedy sketch albums "LBJ In the Catskills" 1966 and "My Son The President, A Musical Satire" 1962.
