I understand. Then we can probably move the pictures, information, and flowers from the old memorial. We need to ask Coleman about that.
PS: With the Maria Bruno memorial, replace "beaten" with "stabbed".

Sorry about the blank message:). Yes these folks are related, although not close enough to fall within Find A Grave guidelines. Would love to have them transferred, if you wish. Thanks for you consideration.

You're welcome for the photo. Glad I could help.
That's a very interesting story on her memorial and do you know the outcome? I hope it turned out in her favor. Have a great Thanksgiving. :)

|Mike Hopper||Hey traveling friend|
Why is it that Charles Emmett Mack is listed at Calvary where you put he's buried in Glendale. I'm confused is some of his ashes buried in Calvary and the other at Glendale?

I believe you've posted the wrong photo for this cemetery. You posted the Corder Calvary Cemetery not the Corder Zion Cemetery.

I wish I had been at Evergreen today. It's one of my favorite cemeteries. Unfortunately, I live in Arizona and the photos I'm working from were taken on my last trip to LA back in May. So your explorers from today wasn't me.

I did a google search of photos I have posted and his picture came up. It was a sign.
You're the one keeping his memory alive by creating the page in the first place.

I also forgot to mention that I am working on a list of about 7000 records around 4000 of those are new records for the Evergreen Cemetery in Yreka. That is also one of my hobbies.

Joe I sure hope that correcting other people entries is not my hobby I make enough mistakes of my own. I have been working on Siskiyou County because that is where my family came from and I wanted to find out more than the few stories that my dad told us. Yesterday I found a story about (Richard Wharton Mannon Uncle Dick) Evergreen Cemetery Yreka, CA. that talks about him killing a panther that attacked a little boy. My sister and I both remember dad telling us the shotgun I now have is the gun that was used to kill a panther that attacked a little boy in Siskiyou Co. I believe this story and my dads are about the same event this is my hobby.

Hi Joe, Thank you so much for the quick response on the photo of Walter Rice. I am working on a booklet, to go along with a local Vietnam Veterans traveling wall. May I have permission to use your photo of his memorial, in the booklet, that travels with the local wall?
Keep up the great work you are doing at preserving history.

Nope, it wasn't a matter of looking harder, or even looking! I was with a group that goes to Glen Haven about once a month with our digital cameras. We pick a section and each person takes a row — and snap-snap-snap until we reach the end (or get tired) and come home and post the pix on Find a Grave. Glad I could be of service!
