RE: Childers
Have a Great day with them.
If you want another one I have a dozy for you. It is Memorial# 124530005. The only "Childers" I have left.
I was doing some Photos Requests over at Oakland Historic Cemtery in Atlanta and took this one in the Civil War area of headstones.
I do not have any "Childers" in any of my lines, but I was in the service with a Childers many years ago and that is one name I always take as I walk a cemetery.

Take care, Bud

RE: Paula Petrie's grave photo
My pleasure, David! Paula's markers are gorgeous, especially the cross. Just FYI, Cedar Hills is probably the best maintained and calming cemetery I've ever been to! On a side note, both sides of my family are from Hutch ... have a terrific weekend!

RE: Art Dixon's memorial
Hello, David,

I should have listed the source. Arthur's obituary was published in The Arizona Republic on Nov. 13, 2013. The obit mentions Frances and David as having pre-deceased Art.

There's a David G. Dixon (1952-2004) (F/A/G #36486062) buried in Phoenix. . . .

I don't have any other information about the family. Sorry.

All the best, Bill

RE: Enjoyed your work!
Thanks for the offer, David! We'll probably be there Thanksgiving so will keep it in mind. Our son and his family are parenting pre-schoolers who aren't really into the "cemetery search thing" but hope to get to see you! Happy Birthday!

Enjoyed your work!
Hi! I just found your work on Find a Grave and it's most interesting! Loved all the info on the mausoleums. Glad you're still around - nice you've picked your last spot. We have family in Wichita so I may get to take a look at some of the places you've researched. Thanks!

Jacob Murray
Thank you for answering. He was botn about 1809 in PA and died Sept 10, 1885. You took the picture of his gravestone. evidently, his wife Mary F, children Ollie John and Ella are buried on his lot. Does everyone have a stone that you remember? I am having a difficult time finding his 2nd wife Jane Hilliard, mother of John who is buried there - died 1863 in the civil war. I was going to try to get to the area.
Thanks,
Ruth

RE: Gotcher family grave markers
You're welcome David. Annie, Jasper and son Henry Wilson Phillips are buried close to the Hunziker graves - it appears that they are somehow connected. You can see Annie's grave stone in the background of the Hunziker monument at Find A Grave Memorial# 125596495

Best wishes,
Paul Hoyt

Which cemetery did you find them in? I just discovered that I had them in Cedarvale instead of Roselawn.

Hi
Hey Mr. Stuart, I was one of your students at Truesdell back in the late 80's. I saw you at McDonald's a few years ago and had the chance to apologize for being a rotten student towards you. You and I almost fist fought a couple of times...haha. Glad to see you on here.

RE: Marshall & Brent Murdock
Yes, I remember you! As a note of explanation, my grandpa grew up working in the Gazette in Emporia with William Allen White. For awhile, maybe a year, after WWI, he ended up in El Dorado with Rolla Clymer, I think, then back to the Gazette until he retired. My dad also worked at the Gazette. I am from Emporia, live in Wichita, and have a business in El Dorado, so have had an interest about all of these newspaper guys, including the Murdocks who were in Emporia before spreading out. I love digging this stuff up! Becky
