You're welcome. I saw that the cemetery (Home of Peace) does well with the number of memorials, but only a small percentage had headstone shots. I've been working since May to post headstones on all the memorials without them. I should be done in a month or so.

You're welcome, Scott! I've got lots of friends buried at Holy Cross! Seems a little surreal to me - as I thought we'd all be here forever! LOL

Thanks so much for the information about Reina Gest. Do you know if her husband Morris Gest is buried there, as well? Very thoughtful. Thank you!

The photo is 15 years old? That makes you a findagrave fossil. Or pioneer? Thanks, Scott!

Hi Scott! Will you upload your photo for Gertrude Atherton #41 to the memorial for her grandson George S Russell # 87653105, who shares her space? I will write an edit note to the person who sponsors his memorial so the relation is made. By the way, it's a great photo of a beautiful mausoleum plaque-- one of the nicest I've seen. Alex

Thanks for letting me know. :)
I read somewhere that Mickey moved her grave (as well as Tim Rooney's grave) to a cemetery near Westwood Village, so I am trying to find her in that area.

You're very welcome. It's in the Home of Eternity Cemetery that's within Mountain View Cemetery. It was pointed out on a cemetery tour as a good example of kohanim hands.

Scott, I've been on vacation so haven't been on Find a Grave. I just linked William Ince to his parents as you requested. Do you know the family? Dr. William Ince had the local hospital in Twentynine Palms (it's now a church) named after him. It was Ince Memorial Hospital. The name was changed by the time I worked there to Twentynine Palms Memorial Hospital.

Sorry, Scott. I don't have any information on Doris. The next time I go to Kensico, I will ask if she's there.
Thanks for the correction..a slip of the fingers in typing, I'm sure.

As you could see from the photo, none of the graves in that immediate area are marked. They may have originally used some sort of wooden marker that disintegrated with time and the elements.

It must be a cenotaph by the way it's worded. Makes perfect sense. Thanks Scott, for pointing that out. Of course the question now is, where's the dad?
