Jonathan Yanney #41044701
Hello. I took a picture of the grave for Jonathan Christopher Yanney but was unable to upload it to findagrave because the picture limit had been reached. If you'd like the photo to substitute for one of the existing pictures, I'd be glad to send it to you.

Hey Brenda. Hope you have had a great Summer. Have a question for you. I sponsered LCpl. Rodgers, but his memorial has disappeard from the Find A Grave list. At least the one I sponsored. What is up with that?

Thanks for everything.

Mason Whetstone
Brenda, my name is Doug Whetstone and I am the father of Mason, memorial #11936275. The birth county you have listed is incorrect. It should be Davis County. I just learned about Find a Grave and joined today. I would like to know if you would transfer ownership of my son's memorial to me?

Sgt. Joseph Menusa
Hi,
I'd like to sen you a better photo of his gravestone without the top cut off.

I'll be happy to attach it to an email to any address you give me. I won't harass you; I just hate to see such a brave man with a chopped off grave stone.

The other route is to remove the pic of the cemetery and then I can add my pic directly to the memorial.

Thanks.

From Australia.
On holidays to Tasmania and bunch of mates and I stopped for a break on our way to Port Arthur. We pulled up next to a cemetery in a little village. Whilst stretching our legs I spotted a grave that took my attention. Straight away, even from a distance I identified what I was seeing. I took this pic for his "brothers" who would have served with him. Let them know where this brave lad is resting. With respect, never forgotten.

I can supply a photo of the grave site

RE: Find a Grave Photo Permissions
Hi Brenda,

Since it is not a claimed photo I'm hoping it's alright to use the photo then. That photo is incredible with the two flags positioned the way they are. I grew up in Texas and to see the two flags together warms my heart. Also knowing my Uncle Marion is buried in that cemetery is very special, too.

No one else in the area is going to add a picture of the two flags, I'm sure, if it's already on the site and this will be my only opportunity unless I go to Houston. I would imagine if the photographer didn't claim it as her/his own then it wasn't a priority.

I'll tell you what Brenda....I do not ever want to offend anyone. To me this site is very special, as well as the volunteers. How about this....I'll add the photo to my tree and I'll make you a promise. I live close to the SLC Family History Library and if you would like me to look something specific up for you I'll make the trip there. Forty five minutes away is a lot closer than a plane trip. Deal??

Have a blessed day,
Susie

Find a Grave Photo Permissions
Hi Brenda,

Some time ago you took a beautiful photo of the Houston National Cemetery. May I have permission to copy it and place it on my ancestry tree?

I will credit your name as the photographer. I also want you to know I'm not doing this for any type of monetary purpose.

Thank you for the service you are giving to others. I can see you have been very busy. Thanks!

Susie Lewis
