Kneebone
Howdy Marines Daughter, hey I just found this error on J. Harry Kneebones memorial, he is my Grandfathers brother, cking through ancestry records he was married to Clara Knutson, not Martha Jane and is not buried in Montana, James Henry kneebone was. The memorial # is 148858639, I already had the older headstone removed, I just need the MOntana cemetery info removed, he was buried in South Dakota cemetery. Will be correcting this memorial and appreciate your work on the site, sorry for the confusion, thanks Nancy Painthorse

RE: Thank you
Thanks again. I am going to be a pain again. Sorry. I know how good you are about responding to edits. So I know this one got lost in the shuffle, so that's the only reason I am reminding you. It's an edit for my aunt Mary Lou Fisher 12538120 I was hoping to have it linked to my grandparent's Catherine and Iver Olsen. I put the edit in awhile ago if you are not able to find it let me know I will delete it and resubmit it so you get another notification. Thanks again. Hope the classes are going good. Sounds like fun.

Bill Rollman, # 37728223
Thank you for adding his memorial to Find a Grave. Bill was my sister's son, my nephew. He died too young. I do our families genealogy and would appreciate having you transfer his memorial to me, Mary Lou Gilman #47950723.

Your profile and your body of work are truly impressive. Like you, I believe every soul has worth and deserves to be remembered. So many others on Find-a-Grave have assisted me in my search for family. I've seen your contributions for years. Thank you so much for your continued work on behalf of those living and gone.

#25846333 Joseph P. Hartmiller
Bio

Joseph Hartmiller was the son of Germany immigrants. His father, Mathew Hartmiller was born in Dirmstein, Pfalz, Bavaria. Matthew Hartmiller traveled with his family through France to board a ship to America. Joseph’s mother, Margaret Floersch was born in Worms, Rheinhessen, Hessen, Germany.

Joseph P. Hartmiller was born on June 12 ,1859 in Cleveland, Ohio and moved Montana in 1882 at age twenty-three. He worked in the Bald Butte mine in Marysville and did some placer mining on Poor Man Creek in the Lincoln district.

In 1898 he discovered a vein of silver and lead. He named the mine, the Mike Horse Mine. It is 3 miles up Beartrap Creek from the Blackfoot river. The mine was originally claimed from public land in 1890 by Joseph Hartmiller. Joseph organized the Mike Horse Mining company shortly after the discovery. By 1901 the mine adit was 1,100 ft. long. The mine was sold many times, but developers soon went broke and Joseph would foreclose and get it back.

He was married to Nellie Ellen Robinson on June 8, 1909. Nellie was born on March 20, 1886 in Lincoln, MT. Nellie's parents emigrated to America in 1870 from Stockport, England. Her parents were William Robinson and Elizabeth Davis.

Joseph and Nellie lived in Marysville. They had four daughters. Mary Josephine Hartmiller born July 16 1923 in Helena, MT. Anna Mae Hartmiller born March 30, 1920 Catherine Helen Hartmiller, who was born Sept 26, 1917. Lillie Licebeth Hartmiller, she was born July 7 1912.

Joseph P Hartmiller died of Pneumonia on January 4, 1948 in Marysville, MT. Nellie passed away the year before, March 3, 1947 in Helena.

I would like to add a bio to Joseph's Memorial and link family members.I don't know if you would rather transfer it to me or if you wouldn't mind doing it. I would be greatly appreciative either way. Thank you.

Transfer of Ella Grindley
Hello again Becky -

Thank you for all of your wonderful work regarding so many relatives of others including my family's relatives. We went to see Ella today in Jefferson City - we found her because of YOU!

I would like to request transfer of her grave to my management. #30403758 When Ella died, James married Ella's sister, Anna, who is my husband's great grandmother and he is my husband's great grandfather. In fact, Nellie is the daughter of Anne, not Ella, and Anne's first husband, Harry Whiting, in Detroit. We have the bible given to Ella by her mother, whom we also found today, thanks to you.

I very much appreciate your consideration. Thank you.

26966259 Massena Bullard
I'm not convinced that this is the correct Massena Bullard. Our Massena Bullard was born 20 June 1866 in New York, and died 24 Dec 1895 in Fairmont, Martin County, Minnesota. His parents, David Curtis Bullard and Mary Anne Tubbs Bullard. And he is buried in Fairmont, MN at the Lakeside Cemetery. Is there any way we can get more information from the Montana death certificate?

Hello Becky, Ia a retired Marine (64-86) and Vietnam veteran I wanted to thank you for your service to our fallen and neglected loved ones. Thank you!
Appreciate your transfer of my friend's family so I can connect him to the rest of the Italian immigrant story! This little one died of whooping cough according to the death record I found. At least I can put him with him parents now who came back to NE PA in the coal regions where they have other Italian family.
