|Patricia Hendrickson||RE: Henderson-Memphis|
Hi Melissa - Eliza Claggett Henderson was a younger sister of my 2 gr grandfather: Stephen Claggett. So that would make her my 2nd great grand aunt. I just wanted to enter all the family memorial numbers so the family members in the Memphis Cemetery are connected. If you want to do the editing, that's fine with me. Here is the info:
Father: William Henderson #115554681 (I have contacted a JillW to have her release or update his entry.
Mother: Eliza Claggett Henderson #15484773
Edith Henderson #65840484
Lena Henderson #65869693
Omar Henderson #65869779
Wm Ashley Henderson #65870585
How are you connected to this family? I have written two books on the Claggetts and was unable to find any living descendants at the time of publication. The above children who lived to adulthood never married so I assume you are connected to Frances Jane (Henderson) Smith or Mary A. (Henderson) Tice. Would love to connect with you if you have photos and info to share.

|Onlyarethusa||Jennie A Van Natter/Vanatter|
Hi, Melissa. I'm researching the Vanatters as they relate to the McKay family which is related to my Meredith family. These families are from Sanilac County, Michigan. Marian E Meredith, the sister of my 2nd great grandfather, Jesse Meredith, married John McKay. John McKay and Marian were the parents of Edward McKay who married Laura Vanatter Digby after both their spouses died. I am positive that Jennie A Van Natter Young was the sister of Laura as her two sons, Rex and Van Digby, were living with Jennie and Samuel in 1930, listed as nephews of the head of house. Jennie and Laura both have John Vanatter and Mary Ernst listed as their parents on their marriage records. I'm tracking down the parents and siblings of Laura, who died in 1943, to round out my tree...okay, because I'm a crazy amateur genealogist who can't stop following a family line no matter how distantly they're related to me. Edward and Laura didn't have any children together, so bloodline is not an issue, just plain curiosity is what's motivating me.
All of this is just my way of asking if I may use the photos you have for the Vanatters and their allied families in my Lemon, Knapp, Herr, Meredith, Barnard, Oglesby tree on Ancestry.com.

|Cheri Schrader||RE: More Info|
Mary Hewitt was Rosetta and James' daughter, so that confirms my beliefs. Thanks for making the transfer. If you want me to take over the other Bradley/Badleys, I'll be happy to. Not sure if they're all connected... some may actually be Bradleys, but maybe some are part of our family. I would love to connect their daughter Lydia (my late husband's grandmother... she's in IA) to them but her name is listed incorrectly and I can't make contact with the contributor to make the changes. I've been trying for over 6 months.

Thank you for the information. I have linked him. Would you please consider adding the family photo to Rudy's memorial? (the one that is on his father's memorial?) Thanks!

I am helping a friend research her family for her children. They descend from Daniel Oliver through his son Shadrack. I would enjoy speaking with you if you're related to this family

I was thrilled to find your entries for the Willis family. I am just wondering how you came up with all the info. Am helping one of their relatives search their tree and would like to give him this info. You can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like. Thank you for your help, Jenni

Hello, I am planning a trip out to Acacia Cemetery in early November. If you could contact the office at 773-625-7800 to request the location and update the memorial page(s), I'll be happy to look for your request! Thanks so much!

Sorry for the late response, but I was out of town for the last five days.
All your requests have been fulfilled. I did not find a Curtis for Alcona Co., MI, as one of the towns to select. There is only a Curtisville. In looking up Curtisville, it sounds as if Curtisville was known as Curtis during the 1883 time period. Is that correct? If so, I will choose 'Curtisville' but add a note about the name change.

Thank you for the information on the obituary. Yes, I would like the Beers memorials transfered to me, even though I am not a direct descendent on that line of the family.

|Alan Wismer||Ridge Cemetery, Beers & Kirbys|
Thank you for all the work you have done on the memorials for those buried at Ridge Cemetery, Sanilac Twp, Sanilac County, MI. I was there about a week ago, just before our annual Kirby family reunion in Port Austin.
Where did you get the obituary for Ellen Kirby Beers? She was a sister to my GG-Grandfather, Vincent Eli Kirby. I am trying to find where their parents are buried; they were Eli Kirby and Mary Katherine Hardy Kirby. Kirby has sometimes been spelled Cirby or Curby. They lived near the Ridge Cemetery from about 1850 to about 1879, and then they seem to disappear!
I am a recent member of Find A Grave. Any tips you might share would be greatly appreciated. My email is email@example.com
Keep up the good work!

I seemed to have intertwined two sets of people into one set.
Volunteer Bill had provided photos of Ernest and Nora Cook's headstones. I inadvertently commented on them on my last message which was about the Wood transfers!

I live in Missouri. I've been to the Ridge Cemetery once, back in about 2002 when we took my mom to Canada for a visit. Had completely forgotten about the cemetery until I came across your memorials for the Henry Cook crew.
Ernest and Nora's mother was Clara. I'm still researching her, so I haven't put up a memorial because I only have her name as yet.

|Patricia Buckley||RE: Millie Lymburner Greenwood|
Hi~ I was going over my past messages and I've recently found two relatives that have lots of info on Lymburner's.
In your note to me, you said you are related to Millie's brother Arza, would you share your tree with me and any pictures/stories? I'm going to get some stories from my mother and will let you know when I get them online.

Thank you. I must admit this is a line that I haven't researched much of. But since finding where William was buried and also finding out he served in the Civil War I am becoming more interested. Not only of him but the rest of the Quance family. I will definitely check out the library.
