Section 047, Lot 197, Plot 03 - no stone. I'm sorry, even though he was buried with full military honors doesn't mean his stone was ordered and placed. I can check again next time I'm out there though.

I am sorry I do not have it any more. I was suppose to cut all of the names off. But I see that i had miss it. You can call the Altus library and they have it in a book. They could scan it for you. I am no longer in that area or I would do it for you. Bertha

RE: #33772886 and #33772886
Hi Dianna,
I have removed the memorials. When I visited Velma, I saw one cemetery. I had no idea that the area the Bullards were buried in was considered Old Velma Cemetery. So, when I didn't see the Bullards listed in Velma Cemetery, I added them.

RE: Family History
I just sent you an email with a bunch of information that I hope is helpful to you! It's at least the basic information we know about the Butts and Hocketts, back about fifteen generations.

I'm sorry but I'm not to familiar with the Harris family side. Carl Barlow was married to Dimple May Harris and had a daughter named Judy Ann(Barlow)Sysco. He later married Joyce Pigg. May Harris's parents were Jake Harris #33477948 and Verna Dillon Harris #33477970 .Hope this helps .

Sorry about that! This half of the semester has been busy. Easter break starts today though, so I should have some more time to talk with her. What sorts of things would you be looking for? And do you want things specific to the Hocketts, or...?

I am a senior (graduating with my BA in Dec.) at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN. I'm studying psychology... Grandma says the people who take psychology are the ones who need it :-)
Grandma was not able to figure out how to download her Family Tree Maker files on to my flash drive, but my brother should be able to help her this afternoon or tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have more information I can share with you once that gets figured out.
You are very welcome for the links! Glad I could help you out with those.

I will be talking with my grandma tomorrow to see what sorts of things she has that we would be able to send you. She's got the majority of our family photos and such. In the meantime, I'll email you links to a couple things.

RE: Great Grandmother Cleo #69132739
I think that would be great! I'll talk to my mom and see what we've got that we would be able to send you. I don't have a lot of it here myself at college, but I'm sure she has way more that we'd be able to share.
She's got a lot on her "Family Tree Maker" files on the computer. Tomorrow I'll be getting back my flashdrive with the program on it, so I'd assume I'll have access to that information as well. I'll get back to you when I've heard back from Mom!

RE: Great Grandmother Cleo #69132739
Yes, that would make us distant cousins! Your great-grandmother would be my quadruple-great aunt. Not sure what that makes us, just that it's distant - tried to figure it out but my head hurts :P
My mom and Grandma (Cleo's daughter in law) have been interested in genealogy pretty much my whole life, and I'm getting into it more myself as I've gotten older (now almost 20) and been more interested in finding out about both sides of my family and where we all came from/who we are.
Oh, and by the way, Cleo's husband Lewis is still alive - I saw you have something up for him. He's 101, but he doesn't seem to get the concept of "giving up"... never has. We come from a stubborn family... haha.
