|Ramona Joiner Carney||Rhoda Lewis Collins Biggs #56839454|
I am wondering if you are related to Rhoda Lewis Collins Biggs. She is my great grandmother.
If you are not related, I am requesting a transfer of ownership.
My number is 46785406.
Thank you for your consideration in the transfer and for adding her to Find a grave.

Thanks for gettting back to me.
There has to be a mistake on that death cetificate. His wife was Sarah Allen and I was told his father's name was Howard Nutter, mother unknown, born in Ohio and raised in an orphange.
I've never figured out how it got mixed up.
The birth date makes it impossible for them to be the parents.

I'm trying to find his marriage record to Ida Perry and if Charley and Ida were the parents of Lucy or was she daughter of John Daniel Allen?

|Syd Gardner||If you are interested ~|
in having management of the memorial I have for your cousin Alexis Collins, I'd be happy to transfer it to your care. Although my maternal line is Collins, they were not in Tennessee as far as I know, and the memorial for Alexis was just one of the many that I've been creating in Montgomery and Davidson counties, simply because I can!
Do let me know if you're interested in the transfer.

|Kenneth D. Tyler||Joseph K. Schilling|
Are you sure of the parentage for Joseph? I have a Joseph K. Schilling born in October, 1893, the son of Benjamin and Hattie Schilling in Hardin Township (Greene County) Iowa. They are also buried in the Jefferson Cemetery. Thanks for checking.

I noticed that on her Find A Grave home page that you don't have her death date. She died 13 Jun 1855 in Sugar Creek, Shelby Co, IN as you have it and buried in the Sand Hill Cemetery.

Hi. Marilyn. You and I corresponded several years ago on Joseph Armstrong and Sarah Herndon. I see in the findagrave entry on Sarah that she was the daughter of Jeremiah Herndon and Rebecca Oliver. I'm really happy that you found that, because I never really could prove her parentage. Just wondered what proof you have.. I'm just curious... Thanks for finding her family.

I have just finished doing extensive research on Joel Sherrod of Northampton, NC. He was not married to Catherine Hale Douglas Karnes. His Grandson James T Sherrod, the son of William Sherrod was married to Catherine.
1)She is mentioned as his wife in William Sherrod's will dated 1/24/1881. I have a copy of the original will from Washington County, AR.
2)Catherine Douglas Hale Karnes was born in 1825 in Rogersville, Tennessee. She married James T. Sherrod on February 18, 1845, in Milam, Texas. They had six children during their marriage. She died in 1889 in Bell, Texas, at the age of 64.
3)She is listed on the 1850 census, In 1850, James Sherrod was 27 years old and lived in Milam and Williamson, Texas.
I don't know how her name has been attached to Joel Sherrod but everyone on Ancestry seems to have it that way.
There is a will which I also have a copy of name Ann in an inheritance from Tabitha Pipkin in which she is named as the wife of Joel Sherrod. The will is dated June 26, 1800 in Northampton, NC which agrees with Joel's period of life.
You can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Joel Sherrod was my 4th Great Grandfather. I have traveled to Maury County, TN and Washington County, AR to study the Sherrods.

|DaveVang||RE: Peder H. Sem|
I found a Minnesota death index for Peder H. Sem with a death date of June 4, 1951 in Goodhue County. That matches the year on the marker. It really complicates things when people change their names.

Re: Charles Edward Collins, Find A Grave Memorial# 92366567
Thanks for finding the duplicate. I'm anal enough to want to keep the online records as clean as possible. Unfortunately, I can't delete the memorial. Since I transferred it to you, I no longer have any delete powers. I believe that you have the power to delete it, though.

Thank you for your kind words. I made more than one trip in hopes of finding a marker and when I couldn't, 2 cemetery staff went out to the Section to see if they could find anything and came up empty as well. It is sad when this happens. Unfortunately I encounter this often, especially on older burials. Judie

|Michael Ratliff Lutz||RE: Armstrong's|
Nearly all of the Greens, Armstrongs and Grahams migrated to Illinois through the Cumberland Gap and new each other and intermarried along the way. During their travels they had associations with Daniel Boone and the family of Abraham Lincoln. It was no accident that Abe Lincoln settled in New Salem.

|Jennifer||RE: Andrew Allen Armstrong|
I am not related to Andrew-- his memorial was transferred to me by the person that initially created it when I forwarded additional info to them on for Andrew's wife, Alice.
Alice had been married 1st to John Nelson Shorter, but the "owner" of the Armstrong memorial did not realize that and transferred all the Armstrong memorials to me.

Your very welcome. I would be glad to transfer him and his wife (if I have both) to you. I like for family to have them so they can add what they want. They are not my family so of course I just have what is on the headstone.
