Willie Louise Sharp
The memorial you created for Willie Louise Sharp is a duplicate; her headstone is inscribed as "Louise Sharp" (the newer memorial has a photo). I wouldn't have found her, though, if you hadn't posted it with her given name, so I appreciate your efforts!

Elizabeth Stout # 107124885
Sorry about the blank message before. I would like to know more about Elizabeth Stout. Specifically, do you have a maiden name for her or a birth date? Also, in the memorial, you say "Their suggestion" Can you clarify whose suggestion it is? Thanks!

Nancy King
Would you kindly remove Henry Wofford as Nancy's spouse. It was put on her memorial in error. A request for Rufus King, her spouse, to be added to her memorial is in the works. Thanks

Rick Hulett
James W. Dodd Waverly East
Hi CJ,

I am wondering about the information you have on James W. Dodd, died August 1835. Could you tell me what the headstone inscriptions say, if readable? Elijah Dodd had a son named James, born 1834 or 35 in that area of Illinois. He was alive at the Census of 1850 and as a resident living with his Neice and her husband, William Wyatt and Sara Dodd Wyatt in 1900. Could the inscription actually be his birth date and not death date? Or, perhaps he is not related to the Dodd's from Morgan Illinois. Any thoughts on this person?

Thanks! Wiley Jopling memorial
Thank you for setting up the memorial for Wiley Jopling, 128354715. I have it connected to my virtual memorial in tribute to my classmates from high school. I never realized he was at Greenlawn, as I drive on FM 138 to visit my relatives in the Pine Hill and Arcadia area. Thanks again!

Ellen FanningCoulter
error for John Fanning
You have created a memorial #107411518 for John Fanning in the Jacksonville East Cemetery, Jacksonville, IL, stating he was born "unknown" and died August 9, 1929. I believe you are referring to my uncle, John Fanning, who is NOT dead, but was born on August 29, 1929. His name and that date are inscribed on the tombstone for his wife, Genevieve Fanning.

Maxine Griffith
I see you have posted a memorial for Maxine Griffith, who was buried in Blue Springs Baptist Church cemetery, In Newton County, MS in 2012.

Is this the Maxine Griffith who was married to James Russell Griffith of Meridian, MS?

James Russell was my 1st cousin, and is buried at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Meridian, MS, next to his parents.

Thank you,

John Berry Griffith
Collinsville, MS.

I sent you an edit on Mamie P. Strobel for a correction. The date you have listed as her death --- is actually her birth --- she is very much still alive & well, she lives in Mansfield Louisiana ... she will be 98 this year.... I also sent you a link to be made for her husband Leonard A. Strobel . They are in my family is the reason I know this.... thank you so much for your help. Robin

Donald Ward
Mellie Griffith
You added a headstone photo to the Findagrave memorials for Benjamin Franklin Griffith (48933861) and Mellie Griffith (48933963). Since you are a Griffith, I'm hoping you will have more information on these two and can help me understand the relationship between the two people whose names are on the headstone. My records indicate that Benjamin married Sarah Ann McDonald on 27 Jan 1880 and that they appear to be married in 1880, 1900, 1910, and 1930 censuses. I would have expected to see her name on his headstone. Instead I see Mellie (b: 1861, d: 1941). I have only approximate dates of birth and death for Sarah Ann, so these could be her dates, but I have not found any place where her name is listed as “Mellie.” I know people often went by nicknames. Do you know if “Mellie” was a nickname for Sarah Ann (McDonald) Griffith?
