Dylan Hembrough
Geraldine Vinyard Hembrough
Hi. I'm Dylan Hembrough. I was wondering if you were related to me somehow. I see that your grandmother's maiden name is Stout, a name in my family tree, and you manage the memorial for Geraldine Vinyard Hembrough, my great grandma. If you have your tree back on your grandma Stout's side, please look for Flora B. Stout, Rev. Jonathan M. Stout, and/or Mary McNeill. If you have any of those people in your family tree, please tell me and I will see if we are related. Thank you.

Priscilla Ann Land
I just transferred Priscilla's memorial to you per your request.

I am glad someone asked for the transfer because I am not a 'collector' of memorials outside of my family and close friends. I just act as a tender of memorials that hopefully someone close to them will find and want to add more than my simple basics.

Powell Hatfield, Jax East Cem
I was in the Jax East Cemetery last weekend, and was able to photograph the Hatfield stones in the Old Part of the cemetery near lot 13. The older Lewis Hatfield (died 1896)is actually recorded as buried on Lot 13, and his stone was used as a landmark for finding Lot 13 as the Hunter family members buried there have no stones.

I found one stone which I believe is Howell's, but it is almost impossible to be sure because the first letter has a crack through it. I'm wondering where you found the name and dates for Powell Hatfield. The Cemetery records have no listing for him, and the 1850 Census shows only M.E. (Mary) and H.C. (Howell) as children living with Lewis and Lydia. At any rate, if Powell Hatfield is buried in the East Cem he has no stone or is buried in another plot.

RE: Caney & Rosetta Phillips
To be honest, I don't know which cemetery these two are buried in. I did post the pictures in the Annadell Cemetery on their memorials that were created by Lisa Cosby. Perhaps you noticed that the pictures on both the Annadell and Davis Cemeteries are the exact same ones. Dorothy Young Campbell is a cousin of my husband and we sent her a lot of headstone pictures, so that's how she got the ones she posted. Since she posted the personal pictures, I would say that she knows more about them than I do and knows where they are actually buried. I have deleted the pictures I posted on the Annadell sites though I cannot correct the duplication of their memorials.

Thanks for drawing my attention to this!

14705862 Sharon L Bolling
35 years ago today I gave birth to a little girl. She only lived two short months. It was all too much for me and I lost my memory of her birth the time she was here and her death. I never recovered many of those memories. Only a few brief memories ever returned. When it was no longer too painful to endure I was able to think of her and have though of her a lot over the years. But I never could remember where she was buried. I knew it was in Oklahoma and the city. A few days ago I found picture of her the only one I have it was in some of my mothers things after her death. My daughter got online and found her grave thanks to you. My other children have wanted to visit her grave and have searched the Oklahoma back roads looking for her grave to no avail. I really want to thank you for posting her grave here so we could find it. It means a lot to me. There is an error in the spelling on your post Her name on the Grave stone is correct but the posting on this site is incorrect. The last name should be spelled "Bolling" it is spelled "Boling" on the post. I would appreciate it if you could correct it. My daughter posted a picture of Sharon on the page.

Nancy Roach Tucker's middle name, again! I'm trying very hard to get things right...this will be my final edit! I put in a request for a photo of Nancy's headstone and it came in, with her middle name spelled as McCown. This makes the most sense given other family's spelling of this name, in spite of some inconsistencies. The document I have typed by Nancy must be a misspelling, even though she typed it herself. Thank you for your patience with me!

Susan Bodenner
James Lafayette Brian, East Waverly Cemetery
You have his wife listed as Louisa but its Laura. If you go to this link
you find the correct name as entered by the person who documented the cemeteries of Morgan County. It would be helpful if you correct this so others using ancestry and the direct links to findagrave will have correct information. Thank you

Nancy Roach Tucker's middle name
Hello! I suggested an edit about Nancy Roach Tucker's middle name recently, and I apologize, but I made a mistake. I have a personal memoir typed by Nancy, and in it she spells her name McCowen, not McCowan. So, the correct spelling should be McCowen. This was a family name, but it was spelled differently by different branches and generations of the family. I don't just mean misspellings in documents; they spelled it differently themselves. So I'd like to correct the mistake I made for Nancy, so she can have her name spelled as she preferred. I have submitted another edit. Thanks for your help and patience!

Dale Springfield
RE: Infant Lyle
I contacted the cemetery today to see if I could get some more information about the two Infant Lyle/Lyles. Mr. Martin checked their original records and concluded that they were one in the same infant. Infant Lyles was first interred in Babyland and reinterred beside his brother later. There were other mistakes (dates, etc.) that they are correcting, also. I will check in a day or so to see if their online records have been corrected. There does not appear to be any grave markers for Infant Lyles. I plan to order one once all is straightened out. Dale
