Nancy A. Moffett Clark
Hello Brenda, Thank you for all the work you do in taking pictures of tombstones and posting them on Find A Grave for those of us out of the area. In looking at Nancy's #73131584,tombstone picture, it shows that she is the wife of W. T. Clark. I believe T. stands for Taylor. Do you know what name the W. stands for?

Thank you,
Judy Newman

Carol Kreider
Lettis Clark
Hello.
I have updated the information for her memorial. She died in 1867 rather than 1887. Tombstone is difficult to read. Based on that year and her age at time of death, she was born on 11 May 1784. Her name was Letitia Lindsey, daughter of James and Mildred Elizabeth Moody Lindsey. She was born in Bedford, PA and was married to Samuel G Clark who is also buried in Pleasant Walk Cemetery. Thank you for placing this photo of the tombstone and for establishing this memorial. Lettis and Samuel were my 4x great grandparents.

Brenda,

Thank you for letting me know this was fulfilled but not claimed. I didn't know, as there is no notification if a request isn't claimed. I've deleted my request and apologize if you went out to take a picture of it yourself!

info update
Hi Brenda!

Wayne Davis (Find A Grave Memorial# 74928185) was my step-grandfather. I have his dates of birth & death (not listed on the tombstone) if you would like to add the info to the Find a Grave memorial.

born January 06, 1905
died May 24, 1989 in Middletown, Henry, Indiana, USA

If you prefer not to add this info to his memorial, I understand. I just wanted to make it available to you if you did.

Thank you, and thanks for contributing to Find a Grave.

RE: Moore family?
I'm not sure, there's a lot of them! Most of my Moore's are in Miller's cemetery or in the Painter cemetery around the corner. My grandfather was Charles Landis Moore, his father was Charles Wesley Moore, his father was James Landis Moore, then James (John) Pemberton Moore (somewhere in Iowa) and then James (John) Moore in Pennsylvania.

Margaretta/Margaret (Moore) Haulman was Jane Martin Moore/John Pemberton Moore's daughter. John and Jane had a total of 8 children before he passed. Jane is on the other side of the Margaretta's tombstone there in Miller's and Samuel Haulman (her husband) is on the other side. I don't think Samuel has a record on findagrave? Anyway, I live 75 miles away but I still visit the cemetery regularly since my family is still in the area.

Thanks for the transfer!

I saw where you set up the memorials for the Lilly family in East Maplewood in Anderson. Do you have any information on the origin of the memorial? Everyone admires that statue and wall.

Edgar & Edward Beeman - Neese Cemetary
Brenda: I am the Biological Grandson to Edgar Earnest Beeman. On the Find-a-grave memorial for him, you are showing the grave marker for his younger Brother Edward. According to a newspaper article at the Madison County Library, Edward took his life June 3rd, 1928. Edgar was born in June 30th of 1898. Edward was born in 1900. If you Google Historical Cemeteries in Madison County, it actually shows in there, the list of burials of all who are there. Edgar & Edward are both listed. My Moms mother married Edgar in March of 1919. Thought I would share this with you, so that your information would correct.
