RE: God bless and keep you!
Thanks so much for replyin back--yes, its so very hard to let our lived ones go but i like share a poem with u,i dont know the author but it a comfort

Near shady wall a rose once grew.
Budded and blossomed in God's free light.
Watered and fed by morning dew,
Shedding its sweetness day and night.

As it grew and blossomed fair and tall
Slowly rising to loftier height,
It came to a crevice in the wall,
Through which shone a beam of light.

Onward it crept with added strength,
With never a thought of fear or pride
It followed the light through the crevice length
And unfolded itself on the other side.

The light, the dew, the broadening view,
Were found the same as they were before;
And it lost itself in beauties new,
Breathing its fragrance more and more.

Shall claim of death cause us to grieve,
And make our courage faint or fall?
Nay let us faith and hope receive-
The Rose still grows beyond the wall...

Scattering fragrance far and wide,
Just as it did in days of yore,
Just as it did on the other side,
Just as it will forevermore.

Thank you for your precious friendship all these years. You have always been there for me. hope it cools off soon and you can enjoy the outdoors. It hasn't been too hot for me yet. I love the outside, my garden and traveling. Little under the weather right now. Need to get whatever taken care of before my next flight. Take care and thanks for the flowers you add for my parents. You are one of my bestest good buddies...

Thank you
Thank you for your lovely note and encouraging message about my husband. It will be a long road, but he will be back to "normal" (whatever that may be LOL) eventually. Thankfully he has retained his sense of humor. I appreciate you keeping him in your thoughts and prayers.

Good luck to you--I will certainly keep you in my prayers.

Mitty Roo,
So sorry you've lost another loved pet. What happened to Lola was terrible. I'm glad they are together again.

Scott Beacham
RE: Beachams from Arkansas
Happy Memorial Day. I'm not sure if there are any Beachams in my line that lived in Arkansas, but it is certainly possible. George Washington Beacham is my gg grandfather, his memorial is 54597127. Most of his descendants and numerous ancestors are linked in FindaGrave. There could be a connection before George Washington Beacham. His father, Daniel Shelton Beacham, came to Tennessee in 1820's from North Carolina along with many brothers and sisters and possibly his parents. Some of Daniel's brothers or cousins may have moved on to Texas and Arkansas, I'm just not sure. If you are researching Beachams, I know website which is a private group on, that may help. If interested, send me an email, I will send more information. Let me know, Scott

RE: Stepp-Barnes Cemetery
I jus left a message with the funeral home in Alba. They are closed until Monday. Perhaps we can get to the bottom of this yet.

Thank you for helping solve this little mystery.

RE: Stepp-Barnes Cemetery
I am a bit confused. Ina Mae (Woods) Barnes is the only person shown as buried at the cemetery, and there is no photo request for her gravesite.

Having added a few cemeteries to FindAGrave, I know one has to add the person first and then either select an existing cemetery or create a new one. Since "Mom to angles Bo and Chris" is the only contact information, I presumed that person must have added the record and known of the cemetery.

There is not, to my knowledge, such a cemetery in Weatherford, Parker Co, TX, Weatherford, Custer Co, OK, nor Woods Co, TX (Quitman).

The FindAGrave information says she was born in Palo Pinto Co, TX, but no such cemetery name is in that county either.

It says she spent most of her life in Chattanooga, OK in Comanche and Tillman counties, but there is no cemetery by that name in either of those counties.

It is possible she was buried on family property; however, without further evidence to the contrary, I believe the FindAGrave entry to be in error.
