Re: Frederick & Sally (Priest) Atwood
Dear Sandra,

Note: I just noticed... Thanks to a Old Find A Grave Contributor {Gabby} who is now deceased. She created a couple of memorials for a Frederic & Sally Attwood.

Note: After fixing up these memorials... They are now matching your memorial for Frederic & Sally (Priest) Atwood.

Is it possible... (?) I can transfer these two memorials

Frederick Atwood #23182029 &
Sally (Priest) Atwood # 23182035

so you can replace!

memorials...
31212087 Frederic Atwood &
31212045 Sally (Priest) Atwood.

Note: I have no-way of deleting Gabby Find A Grave memorials. Even despite when she created so-many mistakes. Out of my Control. Find A Grave Admin doesn't respond to my Requests or emails either! This is all I can do... Need your help

Thank You!

Pierce Walton
Obituary from the Junction City Daily Union dated 23 Oct 1917: Pierce Walton, a veteran of the Civil War, died at his home early Sunday morning. Mr. Walton was born in Lafayette (Allen County), Ohio, in 1840, and in his early boyhood moved to Iowa, where he was united in marriage to Mrs. Louisa C[lementine] [(Ramsey)] Holland in the year 1866. From there he moved to Kansas in 1877. He had lived in Geary County as a farmer until about 14 years ago when he moved to this city, where he resided until his death on Oct. 21, 1917. His wife, seven children and two step-children survive him. They are: Henry, Ensign, Kans; William, Neosho Falls, Kans; Effie Haney, Elkhart, Kans.; Covia Tibbitts, Salina, Kans.; Ida A. Fritz, James J. and Fred, of Junction City, Kans.; James Holland, Ensign, Kansas., and Addie Fisher of Paola, Kans. All the children are here for the funeral.

I have a copy of Pierce's Declaration for Pension, which states he was born 10 Dec. 1840, Allen County, Ohio, so this differs a little from the tombstone date.

I also have a copy of James Holland's Civil War pension file. He was Louisa Clementine Ramsey's first husband, who died during the Civil War and is buried at Port Hudson, Louisiana. Two children survived the marriage of James Holland and Louisa Clementine (Ramsey) Holland Walton: Mary Adeline (Holland) Wells Fisher, who is buried in the Paola Cemetery, Paola, Kansas, and James Eli Francis Holland, who is buried in the Johnson Cemetery, Ensign, Kansas.

I was not aware of an infant death in Iowa, so please forward any information you have on that little one to me at: DebraDeForest@comcast.net. James and Louisa Holland were my step-dad's great-grandparents. Thank you.

Re: FAG Memorials
Dear Sandra, I'm still working it. Though, moving so-far away & not having quite my Laptop hooked up & running here in Washington State yet. I would more than be happy/slowly transfer all (my) Gladwin County, Michigan Memorials over to person like a Ronald Roggow, Bob Frei or yourself if interested in Maintaining them? What ever the decision, I know! have done much and need not feel bad abt. my contributions. My greatest joy would be to know! All this material shared would lift up the Name of Jesus & everyone would give thanks for all the Blessings they have in their lives. I've done this not for Pay. John 15:13 is what I believe in.

Re: Beaverton City Cemetery Location
Dear Sandra, note: The Beaverton City Cemetery is located close to where the Beaverton City Hall is located. Downtown on Brown Street, all you have to do is: Locate the Beaverton Centennial Clock in front of the City Hall & swing out towards the Beaverton-Clare direction. Just before bending around the corner to Calhoun Park. Ou n the Right hand side {Passenger} their's a Narrow entrance/fence & if you drive in. You'll see the Cemetery & another View of Ross Lake Park. If needing help! Just talk with Beverly Miller the Beaverton City Hall Clerk. It's easy to find. Oh, p.s. I'm now living in Washington State.

Re: Ranes in Beaverton Cem.
Hey! Sandra, note: I'm getting very close to having majority of all the Headstones in The Beaverton City Cemetery all uploaded & linked & just finished off the Ranes ones. Their's only a few outstanding ones & the Small section near the Lake to look over. Soon will be moving on to Dale Cemetery & get that Cemetery more up to speed.

RE: Re: Tucker's
Dear Sandra, (I) fully understand what your saying: When it comes to Disabilities. Note: Likewise, (I) have a sister with the same 'MS' condition & she has a very, very bad case of it! I'm sure if (my) Disabilities were on the same level & yes i'm also disabled with 'AS' {Anklosing Spondylitis & have a Mild Case of Autism}. Would hope & pray other's would be their for me as well. So, no-problem helping out. I consider it all a Major Blessing. Oh, is it your family who owned Myers for Tires? Think! I heard someone mention that at: One of the Gladwin County Historical Society Meeting's long ago.

Re: Tucker's
Hey! Sandra, noticed: (I) had to do a little Modification on the John Lemuel Tucker Memorial & improved a little more on his family group. Note: There was a duplicate for John Lemuel Tucker which, had an Obituary (I) inserted before. I transfer the note over & deleted the duplicate one. Then, (I) sent you the Obituary for Minnie Hannah (Tucker) Schofield. Would love to know: which Schofield she married? Last, have Linked up Samuel Manuel Tucker.

As for Frances Tucker born Dec 1880 & Charles N. Tucker born Dec 1886. Michigan still has Snow on the ground & can't wait til, it all melts away. So, can get out their again to do more Headstones photo's. We will find them eventually. Oh, will look over which ones I control & transfer them to you!!!

Karen McKellar
Wesley and Lillie Holtsberry Brown
Hi Sandy,

My name is Karen McKellar, Lillie Holtsberry Brown was the sister of my grandfather, John Holtsberry.

I was wondering is you would like to link Ernest Brown's listing to his father Wesley Brown #43341973 and mother, Lillie Holtsberry Brown #43341806. If you link Lilly to her father and mother, it should complete her ancestory back to the immigrant Holtsberry as well as the Sinift family.

Karen McKellar #47193132

For some reason I cannot seem to remember the names of all of Ernest and Edna's children. If you have them, I would appreciate your sending them to me at kadica@tds.net

Thanks.

RE: John Lemuel Tucker
Sandra, am more than happy to share & thank you for the comments. Though, this is what is occurring here:

It's GOD at work in us. I do believe!!! If your feeling blessed? Then, no need to Thank Me... Just extend all the Thanks, Glory & Praise to the LORD above!!! We are all connected & 1 united Family.

As for me: I'm just blessed to have worked with a great bunch of community members & been granted w/ an Enormous amt. of Support in Gladwin County, Michigan. And I feel no-one should feel: They have ownership over all this material. It belongs to GOD... Do! believe the HOLY GHOST is at work providing us all with opportunities to draw closer with one another. Called Fellowship.

What is simply amazing here is: As Big & Rare of a Blessing this is... Am so happy! (we) are extending this Blessing with huge proportions. As the Article clearly shows... Not many counties are sharing Obituaries like Gladwin Co for Non-Profit. Glory be to GOD in the Highest!!! AMEN
