RE: Swastek Family additions
Good Morning.

The Swastek Family of Piotr, Mary and Jan have completed photos.

Your additions of Frank and Irene did not go unnoticed; however, the photos may have to wait for the weekend. (A short walk-through near the Piotr final resting place was unsuccessful and alas, the office hours have been reduced to 9 am opening.)

Will update you as soon as possible.

Sincere Regards.

RE: Swastek family memorials
Greetings!

Deepest apologies for the delay. The photos were taken on an overcast day and do not due the monument justice.

The Swastek gentlemen should have their photos by tomorrow and Mrs. Swastek's photos will be updated as well (photo quality very poor).

Will advise upon completion.

Sincere Regards.

Swastek Family - St. Hedwig, Dearborn Heights
Greetings.

Your photo request for Mrs. Mary Swastek revealed the following names not included in the Find A Grave database:

Piotr Swastek
1891 - 1951

Jan P. Swastek
1914 - 1970

Upon your origination of the above two memorials, the photos can be added.

Please, advise.

Sincere Regards.

PAWLUS
Jim.. I've completed 3 of the 4 requests for Pawlus however your request for Joseph Pawlus appears incorrect... Emily's husband was Stanley A Pawlus 1913-1998...
I also have family photos for:
Louis Pawlus 1889-1983
Frank A Pawlus 1917-2001
Pauline Pawlus 1894-1982
Patricia A Pawlus 1939-1957

Please change Joseph to Stanley and let me know is you create these additional memorials.

Hi Jim,
Find A Grave does not have Rotsraver Twp. in their system. So I just listed the death place as Westmoreland co. PA.

I think she just over-reacted and I haven't heard any more from her. At least we are now aware of what she's like and gets upset over.

RE: Find A Grave memorial duplicates
It's not just your problem. I try and check before I add a memorial but sometimes create a duplicate because the name may be spelled slightly differently. Sometimes it just happens like when I add a name and two memorials get created. There are just glitches in the system. One of the women who has added memorials to Mt Kelly was very upset about the duplicates and left me a nasty message so I went through them all and think I found the duplicates. Maybe not. We do the best we can.

Georgia Clark
Mary Margaret Terns Demick
Sorry-I was looking at so many of my relatives that I put down the wrong name-used her mother's maiden name as her married name. This is the person that I was wondering where the middle name of Margaret came from. One of her nieces was a Mary Margaret but I have not found any record where Mary had a middle name-none of her siblings had a middle name either.

Thanks for the prompt response.

Georgia

Henry H. Taylor Find A Grave memorial
Hi Jim, I noticed you had done a memorial for Henry H. Taylor (Find A Grave #145435628) with a death date matching my ancestor, Henry H. Taylor (Find A Grave #114683215). Somewhat common name, so it may just be a coincidence, but in case they're the same man, you'll see where he actually is interred. Hope this helps, Doug Stiverson (Find A Grave#47449295).

RE: Frederick George Walkuski photo
Jim, I'm sorry that I haven't gotten back to you until now but I've been a little dormant in regards to Find A Grave activity. I just noticed the email. Please help me with the cemetery and location for Frederick. I will do my bets to remove the photo per your request. Richard died this past August and I really stopped all activity. I am happy to do this for you though. I hope all is well with you also.

RE: Woodmere Cemetery
If I do not have a map, I make a list of all requests for each section & then basically wondered around looking at any headstones I could find.
However this is very time consuming & many flat headstones are half ground covered, again time consuming to uncover.

Gail Hershenzon volunteers on Saturdays at Woodmere. She also works as a genealogist, tour guide, does family research, takes photos....all this she gets paid for. So I think she may have issues with other volunteers who do photos free, when she the same thing for pay.

At any rate, you are more than welcome to join us.
I will contact you when I go this spring. I work M-F so Saturdays & Sundays are my cemetery days.

Can you please call the office for exact grave locations? I was fulfilling some requests last year & found the staff will NOT give out info or maps unless you are family.

This makes it very difficult for Find A Grave volunteers. I do have some maps to work with, but not all. Also this is a very large, old cemetery with NO lot markers. Many headstones have fallen, sunk & are ground covered. I have pinpointed some that were 4-6 inches down.

Since the cemetery staff is unhelpful, any other help for the volunteers would be appreciated.

I noticed you have memorials on my grandparents so I thought I would provide you with some more information to add to them.

Thomas was born on October 25, 1932.
Virginia was born on November 22, 1936. She was also cremated like her husband.

Also, are you related to either of them?

You can reach me on here or at mkt002@aquinas.edu

Bradley Men
Dear Jim Ditton,
It was brought to my attention that several of the Carl D. Bradley men were duplicates of your original memorials. I am sorry for the mistake. It was not intended by any means. I did email you earlier tonight and also have transferred my duplicate memorials to you. I hope you will read the email to you and take it into consideration before you have them deleted. Thank you for your patience.
With Best Regards,
Marylee~*
