Katharine Tynan Hinkson
Just to let you know: I have amended the date of birth for Katharine T Hinkson. All her life she lied about her age as she was 6 years older than her husband. Consultation of birth/baptism records proves she was born in 1859 not 1861 and this is the date accepted by the Dictionary of National Biography. I have therefore amended it.
Thank you for putting her details on the webiste - it is good to see her being recognised.
I have also added the details for her infant son.

Lyle's memorial
Hi again, I've tried to transfer the memorial but keep getting Error! *Not authorized, If seeing
this error, it is probably because you already
transferred the memorial successfully. Let me
know if it comes through to you.
Richard

PS: I'm using your number on your Find A Grave page. Hope that's not the problem. I'll keep trying.

Hi Steven; I'm happy to make the transfer of your father-in-law's memorial. I did go ahead and added the information which you had sent with
your request for transfer. By the way the picture is great. All you'll need to do is complete his obituary.
Regards, Richard.

Re: Charles E Brahan
Dear Mr. Tynan:
I was working in the Belair plot when I came across Mr. Brahan's marker. As he is a veteran, I have added a photo of his memorial but it was partly covered over by soil and grass. Sorry, but I did not have my "hunting" tools. If you desire, next time I am there, I will perform a much better job in order to take the photo.
Respectfully, Jeffrey Kemp (North Adams,MA)

Thanks for your thoughts. I submitted one, once, a while back, and was also turned down. I think crafting the bio is a bit of an art.

Hello, again, Steven,
Thanks again for the transfer. I got to wondering if you applied for "famous" status for Mr. Cotsworth. I get the impression that Find A Grave prefers famous bios to be fairly short. Do you have any experience with that?

Jennifer
Donna Bergan & Arlene Charlson Connection
Not sure what the best way to comment on this is. I noticed that you had a comment on a photo you took of Ron Bergan (Find A Grave # 42103576) and Donna Bergan's (Find A Grave #42103575) graves. You thought that Arlene Charlson (Find A Grave #54456606) may be part of the family based on the proximity of Arlene's grave to Donna's and the similarity of design. Arlene and Ron are first cousins. Donna was Ron's wife, but in later years they divorced, which is probably why they are not side-by-side. Ron & Arlene were never close. They probably hardly knew each other. However, Ron's mother, M. Marie Stenberg (Find A Grave 62950729), and Arlene's mother, Emma Hoeft (Find A Grave 55522317) are sisters. Five of the 13 siblings are buried in that cemetery. Therefore, it is mostly coincidental that Ron's ex-wife is right next to Arlene. Both Ron & Arlene chose the cemetery to be near their mothers. (Ron Bergan is my father's brother, so that's how I know.)

Thank you so much for trying. I appreciate it. No, I don't need photos of the general area. I was hoping the marker would give me some clue to whose baby she was. Thank you again.

Tynan-St. Joseph Cem, Massillon
Hello! I took some pictures today, but I did not find Marie Tynan (d. 1965). However, I did find that the stone for Bernice M Tynan (1911-1921) is between John B. and Marian A. Tynan. I hope you will be able to update her memorial from burial place unknown, to show that she is at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Massillon, OH.

There is a main large Tynan headstone and then at the foot of the graves are smaller individual stones. Just to the left of these stones is one that just says "Gilbert L. 1905 - 1987." I do not think it belongs with the main Tynan headstone, but let me know if you DO have this person, and I can give you that photo.
