|LeAnne Amox Goudeau||Re: Geraldine Evans|
You replied to my correction request of Geraline Evans
Re: Geraldine Evans
I have a question as to one of your edits you have sent me. Her obituary from Monday, Dec 20,1971, has her as a Miss Geraldine Evans, survived by a sister and a half-sister. You have her with the maiden name of Sallee. Was she married or not? If Evan is a married name, who was her husband?
I am working on entering the Sallee tree. If I sent Sallee as her maiden name, it was a mistake. And I sincerely apologize. She is an Evans. Never married.
I sent the link to her father as Walter Emmet Evans mem 37740169. Her mother was Ethel Mamie Sallee. I do apologize for the confusion.

|Kelly K||Anderson Sears|
Oh so you did linked it from my request but declined the edit? I am not sure why you declined my edits since it was through my effort you added the proper link. Appreciate the link though.
Added by Kelly K on May 12, 2014 11:28 AM
I received a decline edit for Anderson with the explanation she was his second wife. I am not understanding why it was declined as she was still his wife?

|Ella Buzzard||RE: William Andrew Payne|
According to William Payne's obituary, he died at his sister's home in Bentonville. The obituary does not say how he died. His children are May Carrico, Will, Fred and Louis Payne. His sisters are Oca Stark, Una Browning and Mrs. Nealy DeWitt.
Brothers are Dave, John and Louis Payne. Is this the William Payne you are looking for?

You are so right - one of my frustrations, as well. Also, thank you for the pictures, Wilma - you have done a lot of work!

|Pamela Johnson Mortensen||RE: Alfred Simeon Casey|
If you are offering Alfred's wife, Wilma, I would love it! It is sad to me that no one has completed or linked any of the Caseys' memorials (except for Alfred's brother George), so the more, the better. If anyone from Sarah's family is eventually interested in hers, I will gladly hand it over. =) In the meantime, I am happy to care for her, esp since she is buried right there with her hubby. Thanks so much for your help and generosity! Pam

It could be Benton County. I'm not familiar with the area. The information came from Ancestry.com, so I have to research it further to verify. He is my grand uncle. Will you please post the obit or email it to me for my records?
Added by Gregory Robinson on Jan 20, 2014 1:33 PM
Look at the top of your member page. There is an edit tab. Click that and all of your pending edits are there. You simply have to "process" them.

Wilma, thanks so very much for posting that great photo of Billey McKinney's headstone. It is very legible now-----and while not the answer I hoped for, at last I know the truth.
