RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 103773605
I see you deleted the one I was referring to originally. You didn't have to delete the whole memorial, just the bio needed editing.

Find A Grave Memorial# 103773605
You have the wrong obituary. The one you put on Robert Dirscherl's memorial is of another man with the same name. You also put a picture of this Robert Dirscherl on the memorial of the one who died in 2004. Might want to change these errors. Thanks.

Strickland - My oops.
Hello, I regretfully duplicated a record for Sgt. Joshua J. Strickland at the Tahoma National Cemetery in King County, Kent WA. I thought I would let you know so you could post your remembrance on his "first" site - 117571634 as I will be deleting my record soon. Best regards.

I'm happy to visit the memorial of one of the brave men who served our country for 3 tours. I respect Veteran's and what they've done to preserve our freedom. You're welcome, but no need to thank me. Have a blessed day!

Roger Allen
RE: Welcome
Well, I am Roger Allen. My Dad is Alton Allen. His father was Hoye and mother Hazel Allen. I do not know either of my grandparents parents for certain. Could you help me with their names and origin. I, unlike most of the grandkids, was not around to hear our family history. Now that the years have past, my cousins are unable to give me accurate information or atleast traceable. Great Great Grandparents names would be an incredable thing to have access to. I have a childhood memory of my dad taking me to Tennessee and meeting relatives and swimming in the most beautiful river (Just saying).

Thanks for your help,

Roger Allen

Allen Family
Hello Rose,

I am Roger Dewayne Allen, son of Alton Allen. I, by chance, happened upon this site. We must be related it seems. I am so interested in my family history and do not know much beyond Hoye and Hazel. I would love to chat sometime and visit about our families. Please feel free to call me. If Im not available i will call back.

Delores Rhodes
Distant Cousin
Hello Rose, I believe you could say we are distant cousins as our grandmothers were sisters. My grandmother was Jessie Lee Littlejohn Allen. I believe I was at a family gathering when I was a kid at Aunt Valley's house in Ennis and believe you were there - I just remember a lot of people were in her little house.

RE: Information needed
Okay, I requested it again. So could you please go to the bottom of his memorial and vote? And see if any of your friends can too. He needs 8 more votes, even though this is ridiculous. His bio should be enough to let them mark him famous!! Thanks so much!!

RE: Tony Douglas
It is very frustrating. I don't know what to do. But it has become a bit of a mission. Perhaps if you could request a fame rating, it would produce the voting page again. Even though I think that is a ridiculous process. I'll try once again to rate it as well. Thanks so much for your help

Tony Douglas
Hello Rose, I was wondering if you could help me with something or maybe give more advice.

I have requested my uncle Tony Douglas' memorial be marked "famous person". Also, James Gamblin submitted the same request two times.

Uncle Tony meets their criteria, and is even in the Country Music Hall of Fame. He also has an international fan club.

Anyway, they placed some type of survey on his page, to see how many people would visit it and agree he is famous. Then they told me to tell friends and relatives to sign up and vote. This made me so angry, I nearly cancelled my account. And I can assure you that Uncle Tony would not want me to rally votes for him to be named famous. So I saw where you had left a note, and that you have done lots of work on Find-a-grave. Even though they haven't let him be listed as famous, they placed "2 Fame ratings" on my profile page, based upon the 2 requests I sent, I guess. This is frustrating, and I was wondering if you could help me. Thanks so much. Lance Douglas Gutierrez
