RE: John C Hemler (1904-1972)
Thank you so much for pointing this out, I feel so embarrassed. All of the information for my obituaries I include on the caption which is only visible if you click on the image. This obituary is from 1902, and is for a John C. Hemler who lived from 13/Apr/1872-3/Dec/1902, a son of George Y. Hemler (108336014). He would be an uncle to the younger John C. Helmer, who must have been named for his recently deceased uncle. I did some more research and additional obituaries state that the older John C. Hemler was buried in Conewago Chapel Cemetery, so I created a memorial for him here: (133945013). Thanks again for your help!

Luana Dawn Alger
Re: Lucy Elizabeth Alger-Lash
I have made edit suggestions on the memorial of my great grand aunt, Lucy Elizabeth Alger, since March and have heard nothing from you in regards to this. You have her shown as Lucy E. McIntyre-Lash, which is inaccurate, as Lucy was first married to Gordon McIntyre before she married John Lash. I have uploaded all you need to know to her memorial, if you would please take a look... Ultimately, I'd just like to see her name corrected and have her linked to her parents, Elias Roy Alger and Mary Frances Pettit-Alger, if at all possible... I've already linked her first husband, Gordon McIntyre to her... You also manage the memorials of 3 of their children, Mamie McIntyre-Cornell, James R. McIntyre and
Joseph R. McIntyre... If you don't mind linking them to their parents too, as well. If you do mind, or if you are not related to any of them, could you at least transfer them all to me so I can link them together myself?

Much Respect,

Luana Dawn Alger

Minerva Jackson Morrison stone
I used to have a photo of her stone but can't find it at the moment. It was located in a barn on Lilac Hill, Fayette, MO and was in geat condition. Minerva is Miss. Minnie of Lilac Hill and she and her husband, Alfred (?) Morrison were the orginal owners of Lilac Hill. I do not believe she was intered in Jackson Cemetery but rather was buried on her farm, or that was the story told to me by the then owner of the farm, Jonie Wells. I will continue to look for the orignal photgraph I took back in the nineties and rescan it. Yours in Kindred Spirit, Olan L. Smith

RE: Seeking Permission
May I have permission to use your photo of the Diamond Grove cemetery? I would like to use it on my ancestry.com site. Thank you for considering this!

I noticed on your bio that you are married to a "Fox". By any chance is she a descendant of Jonas Fox? He was my second great grandfather, with his son James Garner Fox being my greatgrandfather, John Roy Fox my grandfather, and John Garner Fox my father. There were several Fox families in Cass and Morgan Counties. I believe Jonas had siblings that were in Morgan county.

His birth date is 4/15/1805, Funkstown, MD. He is my ggggrandfather. I would like to link my family all together. If he is related to you, you can add folks if you want. I would like to get them all linked, all the way down to my father's generation. If you are not interested in that, I would be willing to have you transfer the Stouffers you have to me. Please let me know if you are interested in an exchange.
