RE: Conrad Miller sponsorships
Oh my goodness, you are welcome. So glad to meet you, how nice. We have now known for very long- it's a very long story. Conrad and Pierson ( who we also never heard of ) are buried next to our plot at Union, never thought he was ' ours'. Longest story ever. My 3xgrandfather, wish there were more photos of he entire family! If you do not mind, which of his children is your grgrandparent?

Our part in the story is fairly sad- a year old, orphaned baby, a Civil War cavalry vet and a mother with TB. It's taken me a good 20 years to find the Millers, some were under my nose all along. :)

Thank you for sponsoring my list of veterans in Trinity Cemetery. I made the list to make it easier to put flags out on Memorial Day. Also, how did you like the pictures on the 4 accident victims?

RE: Lawrence
No problem. Was glad to do it... solved an old 'tale'. I hope the pictures I took of the lake for their memorial pages were alright... seemed a little inappropriate for some reason, but 'their' lake is so beautiful and peaceful it kinda balances out the tragedy of what happened to them. If you ever come across their birthdates I hope you can add them! Have a great day!

Hello! I just mailed out the articles for you on the accident. I wanted to go take pictures today, but it's too rainy... maybe tomorrow or next weekend.

Big Ern...I love that name! I just want to thank you for sponsoring my aunt's memorial. I've got a ton of photos to go through but can't bring myself to do it just yet.

Thanks again...

Hi Big Ern. Ran to Eglington Cemetery today on my lunch break for a map of Gates of Heaven. Section Washington 29 are donated lots. They don't have markers. I asked what needed to be done to get them name markers and was told that because the plots were donated, the plots would have to be bought first by a blood relative before a marker could be installed. So, what I'm going to do is take pictures of lot Washington 29 and add them to James, Emily, Betty and Pearls memorials. In the meantime, I went to the Gloucester County Historical Society Library the other night and found the newspaper article from May of '56 and a write up in a GCHS book. If you're interested, I can send them to you. Have a great day!

RE: Elmer Clothier
It was my pleasure to sponsor Mr. Clothier. It's the least I can do for his daughter Candy who went to the same High School as me. I read a report when his older daughter was talking about him and said her father was 48 when he died. I thought it would be 1919 but I didn't realize he died 2 days before his 49th birthday. It was such a tragedy. He died from a broken heart & the stress. Coping with Candy's death then had death threats against his older daughter from the killers. He died 4 months after Candy.

May 12, 1956- A car was found in Warrington's Mill Pond with 4 people in it. The car and people had been missing since Christmas. (From Woolwich Fire Company notes)

Warrington Mill Pond. On the border of Mickleton and Woolwich Township. It's not even a mile from my house. I've heard the story my whole life, but never knew any details. Tragic. I hope I can find them for you.

RE: Gates of Heaven
hmmm. ok. I'll go to the Eglington office next Monday and ask them if they have a map. They might not have a grave marker, although they were young, so you would think that they would. ???. I walked up and down every isle twice. That's really sad how they died. Do you know where the accident was?

RE: Gates of Heaven
It's very possible they don't have a marker. Most of the graves there just have those bronze ground plates and over time they tend to sink into the ground... or get stolen because they're bronze. It's not a very large cemetery, which is why I was able to look twice. If you can find out anything, I'll be happy to go back... it's not far at all. Gates of Heaven is owned by Eglington Cemetery 423-0441. Good Luck!

Hi Big Ern, I searched this cemetery today (twice) and could not find Pearl Butcher, Betty Johnson or Emily and James Lawrence. I found an Elizabeth Johnson, but she died in 1961. Sorry! Rich.

If you've taken over Alberta's memorials, I was wondering if you could pass over to me #11129262. He was a dear friend and classmate.

James Lennon, husband to Annie Elizabeth Sullivan Lennon, was born in County Roscommon, Ireland, not in Boston. He was my great grandfather.

Hello; I was going to request from Alberta Withrow a transfer of memorials for the two people above; then sadly read of her passing away early this year. I don't know who to ask - perhaps it's you - about requesting a transfer of those two memorials. They are my maternal great-grandmother and great grandfather; I would love to be able to complete the information and add a nice 'bio' and some photographs of them. The actual memorial numbers are: 11042255 (Freida) and 11042256 is for George. I look forward to hearing back - and again, saddened by the loss of one of 'our own'. Conni Brady ~ theMamaCat
