Columbus Edward Broom
Hi William,

I saw you took a photo of the funeral home marker for Columbus and I was wondering if you could verify what cemetery is correct. I would like to make the duplicate disappear. Thank you.

RE: Guy Requests
Thank you so much for your time. I was not even sure I had the correct cemetery. But their obituaries stated Petal cemetery and this was the only one I saw in Findagrave.

Thank you thank you.

Also I looked for the movies you referred to where the operator was named Myrtis but couldn't find any. Thought that was funny though. Myrtis is an old timey name. Also in Greece they named this very old person found Myrtis. That was very funny.

Joe Walden
Wanda S. Griffin, Find A Grave Memorial# 124554228

Thank you for responding back to me back on Oct 19. I tried responding back to you at your email address with the following:

Wanda (S?) Walden was born in about 1937 in DeWitt County, Illinois the daughter of Glenn & Louise (Cosby) Walden.
Wanda Walden married Wayne Cowen in May, 1958. They had two children: Kevin Wayne & Gayle Renee. They divorced in about 1975.
Until 1990 Wanda lived in Waynesville, DeWitt County, Illinois. In 1990 there is a record for her as Wanda Cowen Griffin. This is the first mention of "Griffin" and there is no knowledge of who "Griffin" might be.
In 1993 "a" Wanda Griffin was living at 3005 Baracuda Dr, Gautier, MS. This Wanda was born 6 Sep 1937 according to the index record.
On May 7, 2003 the obituary for Wanda Walden's step-mother Zelma Mae, lists her as "Wanda Griffin, Gautier, MS." This fact clearly pulls all of the other facts together and seems to validate that this Wanda is in fact Wanda S. (Walden) Cowen Griffin.

Unfortunately I don't have a death certificate and/or obituary. The data I have which matches the findagrave memorial is the DOB of 6 Sep 1937 and the name Wanda S. Griffin. This is what has led me to believe that I may know who the memorial represents.

Thank you again for your response back. I very much appreciate anything you may be able to do to help determine if this Wanda is indeed a part of my family.

Thank you again !!!
Again my grateful thanks for fulfilling two more headstone photo requests for me today; John William and Sarah Ann [Sellers] Flynt. Then added bonus, you added headstone on Christine Rose Flynt's page and the four headstones in a row photo gave me the clue I needed to find out that Christine Rose Flynt was the mother of Luther William Flynt, Jr (he is the grandson of John & Sarah Flynt).

I just requested a photo for Luther William Flynt, Jr. please add the four headstone photo if you didn't take one of his along.

Thank you -- you are a great findagrave contributor.

Thank you
William you always come through for me and you seem to get around to many cemeteries!

Thank you for the photos for the military markers of Casey and Virta Lee Flynt Nicholson. Also for taking the area photo. So nice to see that!

The grave marker is missing I think do you know the exact location to her Crypt I do know is single Crypt tier E space 0
Lot E Block12 I understand that she is a Mausoleum Crypt right along Panorama Drive in Bakersfield Greenlawn Northeast 37 00 river Blvd bakersfield California. Iam going to write a book on the Barlow family and she is Julia Lillis Barlow wife of
Charles A.Barlow second wife. What I mean to say that her Plaque on the front of the Crypt or vault is missing going to try to put one back on her grave site. May need the families permission to do so. I haven't ask Greenlawn Cemetery what and how to do this yet need make sure it is really missing will go back in the next few days.
