Thank you Judy for transferring my great grandfather "Charles C. Hoffman" as he called himself after deserting his family. I have a lot of work to do now to document him and figure out how to list him on Find A Grave under his real name when his tombstone says otherwise. Anyone searching for Calvin B. Hoffman will not find him.
Appreciate the quick response.

|Sally Warner||Roy Howey|
I have added my Grandfather, Claude Carson Howey to find a grave (#166918144) so that he can be connected to my father Roy Howey. The request is pending.
Could you change the ownership of Roy Howey and Norma Lea Howey over to me, Sally Warner
Thanks so much

Memorial # 89089260. This is Spelman & Sarah Mack & they are my Great Grand-parants on my Mothers' side. I was at the Cemetery last month (June 2016) & in front of their head-stone, there is another stone that only says, "Mother". I took a picture of it but I'm wondering if you might know "who" the "Mother" is? If you'd like the picture of that head-stone, I'll be glad to send it to you to add to their Memorial. I hope you can tell me who the stone is for (Mother) & are you perhaps related to my family some way? Thank You for your time & all the work that you do! Nancy J. Berry

Thank You so very much for the transfer of my great-grandparents George & Lucinda Baker at Iola Cemetery.
Your work with Find A Grave is remarkable! I cannot begin to imagine all the hours that you have so selflessly spent in creating Memorials, taking photos and walking through cemeteries to search for graves. You have greatly assisted so many people with your work, myself included-without the link to the Baker family in Iola, I would not have been able to submit my application to the DAR.
To say Thank You seems so trite in relation to all that you have done and continue to do.
I GREATLY APPRECIATE you, and the effort that you put forth. You DO make a difference!!

Thank you for accepting my edits. I was tying up some loose ends on Peter Aldridge's family and spotted all the memorials. Peter was a brother of my GG-Grandmother.

|Claudia (Virgil) Harris||Norma Lindsay Barkman #59051974|
I am researching Norma's family, she is the great-grandmother of Nick Miller (wife Amber) and I'm working on their family tree. What is the source of your information that Norma was the daughter of A.J. and Martha May Olmstead and that she was raised in an orphanage. It would be of great assistance to have her correct line A.J. and Martha May Lindsay. Martha May died in 1927 so what happened to her children? A.J. did not die till 1946 and is buried in Cedar Memorial Park, Iowa. Any assistance and sources for her would be appreciated. Thank you so much, Claudia [Family Historian]

Hi Judy, Regarding my ggg-grandfather... the Lay Servant who submitted the biography did a nice job. However his wife, Sarah Owings Forsyth, went back to Baltimore after his death and died there in 1899. Her obituary says nothing about her being transported back to Kansas for burial. So, is she in fact buried next to him? Where is the proof? Next time you are at HALSTEAD CEMETERY would you please find her for me and submit an edit request (to me). If she is not there, the Bio needs to be corrected. Also, please remove 'Ann' from her middle name as there is no evidence of that anywhere. In fact you could simply delete everything after the "PE of Alexandria Dist" as the information is redundant (and they had 13 children, not just the 6 that the Lay Servant obtained from my linked memorial pages). An alternative is for me to make all these changes myself of which I would be most grateful. Thank you very much, Katherine #47770472

|Robin Dudley-Palermo||George M. Dudley|
George M. Dudley was my grandfather, his wife Allie Bauguss was my grandmother. I have copies of his WWI decorations. I also have a copy of my mother's birth certificate showing George and Allie as her parents. I have some evidence that he was married before he married Allie. I also remember her telling me that they met during or after he served in WWI. I suspect the 1920 marriage date is accurate but have found no record of the marriage. I have never used this site before and will be glad to send whatever you need for proof of identity. Thank you. RDP
