RE: Clarence Eitnier
Unfortunately, I didn't see a marker for her. There was one for their daughter Barbara and I took a picture and added it to her memorial, but none for Mary. I'll go back soon to double check though by Friday.

Margo Dittmer
William F Hills grave photo
Dear Stanley,

Thank you so much for taking and posting this photo. It is of my great-grandfather's gravestone. I had been trying to find his death date and place of burial for years, as he died in tragic circumstances that were not much talked about.

He was a resident of Brooklyn, NY, and died there. Do you happen to know why he might have been buried up in Albany?

Thanks again,

Margo Dittmer

RE: Delbert Weidenhamer
The lady at Crown Hill cemetery who did the look up for me stated that Delbert was buried in the plot right next to his mother. I'm assuming he is on the open side of that stone. Jim Gumm

Thanks so much for the lovely photos. I was hoping to get their dates and middle names. Did you write that down or could you also photograph that for me and add it to their memorials.
Thanks again!

Stanley,
I appreciate your taking the time to explain your point of view and believe me, I understand your feelings about the piracy of our hard work. It's so prevalent that I don't get too excited anymore about duplicates. I really think findagrave(now ancestry.com) encourages it. Let's face it, if they don't turn their back on duplicates, all the "good" memorials will be filled and their subscribers will lose interest. Thus-loss of revenue. I have already said this to them. It's all about $$$ and you can be sure findagrave will soon become pay-per-view. Does no good to delete memorials, they have it all backed up somewhere and then it will become their memorial, photo and all.
Did you know the Berks County Historical Society no longer allows access to their cemetery index on their website. Hmmm, $$$.

Fricker photos
apparently you added a request to the memorials for Frederick Fricker and his wife Nellie that photos of their markers not be shown- is there a reason? Photos have been taken and the memorials were transferred to me but I can't get the photos to be shown. Any info or help?

Mr. Stanley, thank you for taking time from your day to photograph Harold's grave maker. On the maker there was a name of a daughter that I did not know about who died in infancy.

Regards,

Tom and Nancy Gawthrop
Albert and Roy Straub
Hi Stan, haven't talked for a while. I have posted on Ancestry.com a copy of the Galesburg, Ill. 1928 city directory, showing the Straub's in Galesburg that year. I also have posted two photo's of Roy A Straub, my great grandpa, and Albert's son. I also just today discovered a photo of Albert in his civil war uniform, probably when he first enlisted. Also I found out that Albert was not in Company C, but Company E of the 50th Illinois Infantry, and when he signed up he went in as a corporal, and in 1865 left as a first sargeant. This according to the adjucant general's report (my spelling is horrible!). On this new photo of Albert, the number 667 is found on his collar. I don't know what these numbers represent, but maybe you could share some insight. Talk later, and if there is any more photo's you need here in Galesburg, let me know. Nancy Gawthrop

RE: Woodrow Zehner
First of all, I didn't get credit for the picture. I probably took that picture over a year ago, because I haven't been to Laureldale for quite a while. I didn't "just" put that on there, but you know what; If you would have asked nicely, I would have removed it. Now, not so much!!

Thanks very much for the great pic. of his gravestone. I do not have a memorial dedicated to a son buried in Laureldale Cem. You could make a memorial with the pic, and link to Wm. Clarence Sr.
via the family link. I do not know to which son you are referring.
I found the obit for Wm. Clarence Sr. while searching the Reading Eagle for others of my family.
Henry Samuel Feick Sr. is my Uncle, so added memorials for some members of his family when I found them.
