RE: Nancy Menser
Now that I look at things - Andrew (her husband) is listed as Mentzer - and he should be changed to Menser - and Nancy should be Menser, too. Their obituary in the Torchlight had it spelled that way. They died of cholera 11 days apart. The John A Menser in the Find A Grave list is ok that way. He's a son who died 2 yrs before. They also had a son Abraham who is supposed to be in Woodland and who supposedly died close to when his parents died. I have it that they are all in section D.

Thanks -

Margaret

I have a Studio style Picture of the Poling Family. There are 19 People in the picture but I have no idea who they are. My Mother in law was a Poling and we found the Picture after her passing. Can you help me?

RE: Edwin Meridith
Edwin Alexander Reid Meredith (aka Edwin Meredith) Find A Grave Memorial# 46298200 was a Harvard Graduate, class of 1885. He was a Civil Engineer. Per a Dayton Metro newspaper, he died May 5, 1907 of pneumonia in Kremmling, Colorado. He was the husband of Mary Augustua Munger Meredith, resident of Xenia.

I thought perhaps you might update his death date and add the info above to his bio. If you would rather transfer management, I could update his record instead.

Sorry for the confusion and thanks.

Why, thank you. But I am actually not related to them. Like you, I just like filling in the blanks.

Just not sure why you transferred to me. Not that I mind handling them. It's fine. I like your bio. :P. Damn "Internet Points". I'm currently adding lots of photos onto such a member's memorials, and am quite frustrated with them. At least they make corrections promptly.

Thanks for the transfer, John. I have some information I can add on George Loper's wife and his ancestors. Unfortunately I don't believe he had any descendants. I really appreciate that you added his memorial to Find a Grave.

Joseph Groff Gest, Sr
Hi John,
Regarding memorial #44282824 for Joseph Groff Gest, Sr. in Woodland Cemetery, Cheryl has the wrong photo for Joseph Sr. and his wife Mary Harbine Gest. She has instead a photo of Joseph Jr. and his wife Minnie. I do have the correct photo which I can upload.

Thanks, Neil Gest, Sammamish, WA

I added one I found. He is my step-father.

By the way thank you for doing Spring Valley Cemetery. I lived in Spring Valley before I entered the Navy. I am now in New Jersey. I have been working on an old Friends Cemetery here. It really takes time since many of the stones are sandstone and are seriously weathered. I have been using old records from the local history center for as much information I can get. It is hard work.

RE: John Jenkins
John,
Not a problem, I removed it. A lot of people don't know that the all markers in the cemetery have been photographed and posted to memorial's. After telling some of those requesting photo's and removing the request a week later they do another photo request, so this generic photo is a nice way of telling them their isn't one, plus away to keep track they have been inform.
