Thank you so much for the obit of William Sutton. The fact that he was married three times was news to me. I knew about two wives but not three. Appreciate the info very much.

Hi Sharon, If you wish for the photo of the cremation grave section (36) to be removed, let me know. The flag is something I utilized to designate it specifically. Confirmed with the diagram from the church office. Hope this is all ok, mam. -Jerry

|Rod Williams||Carl Henry Foust|
Yes. Carl is my 3rd cousin twice removed. Of course I never knew him. A few months ago, I found out my X3 great grandmother's maiden name was Foust. Since then, my DNA has matched up with numerous members of the Fouts/Foutz/Fautz/Pfautz family. The original spelling was Pfautz when they landed in Pennsylvania from Germany. They were strict Lutherans, but one branch of the family joined the Quakers. The Fouts were movers. Some migrated to the Carolinas and then started moving westward. As soon as the government opened new lands, a Foust was there to stake a claim; stay a while; sell; and move on to stake claims in newer areas....always leaving some family members behind. If gold or silver was discovered, a Fouts was there. Large numbers of Fouts are in Illinois and Indiana. My X3 great grandmother Lucinda Fouts met and married Jason Ashworth in North Caroline. Jason and Lucinda traveled with members of the Fouts family to Illinois and then to Missouri where they stayed. Other Fouts joined with other families, including my Fisher ancestors, and set out for new land stakes in Oregon. The Fouts are listed in the Oregon.gov archives as some of the earliest settlers. Yep, they survived the Oregon Trail. Carl Henry is descended from those Fouts. Once they settled Oregon, some family members set out for free land in Idaho, Montana, and South Dakota with a few ending up in Colorado. My DNA matches me to the Fouts and Fishers who went to Oregon, so if Carl were still around, we would have a DNA match. So in ending, I'll say, "Hello, cousin."

|Ann K. King Tebow||Marteen and Harry Brooke|
Thank you for responding so quickly. Would you consider transferring Marteen and Harry to me. Harry Brooke and Rudy Heard [ Harry's brother-in-law] were my daddy's two best friends in Big Sandy. I considered Marteen and Harry and Irene [Harry's sister] and Rudy my aunts and uncles. Both groups loved me just like I was there own. And I loved them the same way. When Harry and Marteen adopted Judy and Mary Ann, Judy was 4, I was 5, and Mary Ann was 6. I went around telling everyone in Big Sandy that I had new cousins. I was so happy to have them in my life.
So if you would email me back yea or nah, I will get the trnsfer request to you if you agree! I really would like to take care of them.
Thanking you in advance.

|Perry A Sloan||112471091 Frances Burslem|
Hi, Another findagrave contributor noticed that your memorial for Frances has her in the wrong cemetery. She is actually buried at North Carolina > Rockingham > Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&GRid=118190965&CRid=2159318&). I had created a memorial for Frances when I canvassed that cemetery last year. Your memorial predates mine and I've deleted the duplicate. Please associate this memorial to the correct cemetery. Thanks! Perry

I also added the following: There are 5 Cleland graves without monuments north of Rachel's. They are #37 (Bill Cleland), #38 (Mrs. Cleland), #39 (Mrs. Cleland), #40 (Vera Cleland Scott) and #41 (Belle Hunt Cleland). This info is from the Parks Cemetery Record Book.

|Dan Herriage||David & Hulda Martin|
I have been contacted about a duplicate on David Martin. The problem is there are two sites for Grays Chapel Cemetery. Grays Chapel Cemetery has 1,639 interments and Grays Chapel United Methodist Cemetery has 37. We need to work together on this to merge into one. I have encountered this before. I don't mind deleting my entry but I feel we should work at getting them entered into the larger site. Let me know how I can help

|Dorothy Wilkie||Daniel/Perry graves|
I added a photograph for Jerry Daniel buried at Southside Cemetery in Troy, NC. My husband knew Jerry Daniel though his work in the local school system. He died in a terrible automobile accident involving a log truck, a shock to everyone in the community.
We located the grave marker for Enid Perry, but no death dates were on it so I did not post any photos. We will check on this from time to time.
Also, we did not find the grave of the younger Raymond Perry, but my husband will get in touch with someone to find out where his grave is.
Best wishes, Dottie Wilkie
