Memorial # 79394459
Vespasian Ward Whitney is sometimes confused with his father Ward Vespasian Whitney. The Civil War memorial can make it even more confusing as it lists him as Vespasian U. Whitney. Many times you will see his name written V. W. Whitney.

Robert Harlan Whitacre
Thank you for all your wonderful work! Such dedication. I have one question. In Quaker records it lists Robert Harlan's second wife as Mary Straub. Is there any chance this is right? Thank you again.

Mary Helen Roudabush at Fort Lincoln Cemetery
You have listed a burial at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood Prince George's County, Maryland., for Mary Helen Roudabush Birth: Aug. 29, 1909 - Death: Nov. 19, 1948. Find A Grave Memorial# 109982402. What information on her can you tell me. My wife's Grandfathers brother was "William Gladstone Roudabush" born July 17 1903 - Feb. 24 1955. He grew up in Washington, D.C. He is buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery with family members. He was married to "Helen Jeski". I have no more information on her. But i think this might be her at Fort Lincoln Cemetery. Is there any way you can find out the Contact information on Mary Helen Roudabush there at Fort Lincoln Cenetery. My email address is bushhill@comcast.net

Hi, Laura, I had Susan's obit in my files but do not usually add them to FindAGrave. Since you went to the trouble of sending it though, I've added it to her bio. Thanks! Her husband, Henry Loomis, was my 3rd g-uncle!
