Nancy Catadi - 1953 - 2008
Greetings. It is with a very sad heart that I have to announce the passing of Nancy Cataldi on September 29, 2008. Nancy and I wrote the book Maple Grove Cemetery by Arcadia Publishers but she had strove to help as many people as she could with her research. Now it is my turn to keep Nancy's memory alive and will help anyone who needs help to find loved ones at Maple Grove.
With a heavy heart.

My sweet dear friend, Nancy,

We had so much fun growing up. We were inseparable. Shopping, going to the beach, watching old movies, listening to great music, going to rock concerts, staying out late and getting in trouble when we got home, all the sleep over with our friends the list goes on and on.. I would not change a thing. You were a great friend to me. I had always admire you. You had done wonderful things in your life.
Where has the time gone? I love you and I will miss you so much.

Marlene

I greatly appreciate your efforts to locate a marker for Robert Murdock (my grandfather). If possible, could you let me know the location of the grave?

Again, thanks for your help!

Thank you so much for the photo of Frieda Wehrli Murdock's marker. She is my grandmother--I have been unable to find a date of death until now.

Is there any way you could let me know the location of the marker so that I can visit when I'm in the area?

Again, I greatly appreciate your help!

Dear Nancy,
I want to thank you for all your efforts in bringing this wonderful site to us. Living in Florida made it hard for me to visit my father's grave. He was a wonderful father, and I still miss him. This gives me the opportunity to visit with him anytime I need to speak to him.

Thank you again, Helen Papazoros

Thank you
Nancy,

What a beautiful tribute to my grandfather. I think of him often and miss him a great deal. He was a huge influence in my life as a child and a young adult. He was a great man, filled with love and compassion for all. His smile could warm the coldest heart and you felt wonderful after spending time with him. He opened his home to anyone and everyone and never once made them feel uncomfortable. His home was a sancuary that you could visit and forget all your troubles. I remember the sadness when it was time to leave and go home. As a child, I spent countless hours with him, learning about gardening, watching baseball and always wanting to spend as much time with him as I could. I wished someday I could be as great as him. The world today could learn a lot from a man like my grandfather and would be a much better place to live. I am fortunate to have had him in my life and my only regret is that he was taken from me before my wife and children could meet him. They know much about him as I try and keep him alive in all our hearts. Through the years I have often spoken to him in my prayers and in my dreams. I now have a place that I can visit too and spend time with him. Thank you for all the time you spent in making this possible. You are indeed a very special person.

Warmest regards,

John Papazoros

Nancy,

I can't thank you enough for what you did for my family. Living in Florida and being so far away from the Cemetery, my Mother often thought about leaving him behind. With your help, she can now at least "visit" him. This web site and you taking the time to help a stranger is the best Christmas present I will have. Thank you, Thank you! Happy Holidays, Anna Lass
