CHILD SUCCUMBS

Small Son of Mr.and Mrs. Carl Hall Passes

Hopes of a fond mother, a former resident of this city, that her only child would soon regain his health, were swept away Thursday morning in Bloomington when the child passed away as he lay in her arms while enroute to the hospital.

The boy's parents, Carl and Rachel Brock Hall, residing two miles south of Bedford on the Dixie Highway, were taking their two year-old son, Theodore Warren, who had been ill for three weeks, to the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for treatment. Death was due to a generalized infection developing from a cold.

Mrs. Hall lived in this city when a girl and visits here frequently. The grandparents of the child, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Brock, of Bedford, formerly lived in this city on North Chestnut Street and were well known here.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o'clock Saturday moring from the home. Burial in Green Hill Cemetery.

Memorial for Charles A. Hodges
Thank you, Blair! for allowing me to use the headstone photos you took (Thank YOU!) and for editing info to the other Memorial. I have new information about Charles A. Hodges (and excellent actual-image documentation) about his middle name, etc. But I must hurry out the door this morning for a doctor's appointment so I shall have to provide you the specific evidence later. I know it is a nuisance to go back and change a lot of stuff, so I truly appreciate your help in these matters. By the way, I am also from Indiana (I saw your bio posting). Thank you very much again and God Bless. Best regards, Sue. p.s. ~ I'll email the documentation. :)

Looks like they have their photos linked with another cemetery, Hillsdale in Coryell County, so you may want to mark those done. Do you think her mother Josephine might be with J C Giles or her daughter's cemetery, Hillsdale? Happy Huntin'

X-fer Request,
Hi Blair,
I was wondering if I may please impose upon you to make a transfer of the following child:

Gretta Beyers: Find A Grave# 49749944

Gretta Beyers, daughter of Howard {Find A Grave# 61315481}
and Bertha (Holder) {Find A Grave# 61315872} Beyers

I would appreciate having your permission to copy the headstone photo over to my family trees, but, I don't want to irritate you... I am not quite sure how to handle anything right at this moment, as far as Ancestry.Com is concerned.
I am a member, but, at this point in time I don't put pix or docs into ancestry .... BUT, one day I would very much like to modify the family book that was written, entitled,
Joseph Rainbolt & His Descendents... And yes, at this point I would attach photos to validate / verify data.. And yes, I would leave your name on the photo, so in fact you do get the credit... Now, if you would rather I didn't, I have absolutely no problem with your wishes, either... Thank-you for your time, efforts and consideration in this matter,

Murray's in Indiana
Say...I notice you have set up a memorial for my Great grandfather Charles James Murray and for his wife Minnie as well as Martha Diehl.....followng your links I find you have indicated four children. We know of only two my grandfather Robert I and his sister Sophia(married Martha's son William "Jot" Diehl. A third would have been the child that died at the time of MInnie's death. (complications of this birth) Who was the fourth? What records have you found for your research? And are you related to this line? Have you ever found the burial location of Charles James Murray his obit says burial in Mitchell Cemetery but can't records to prove.

For you to have remembered Shannon, it was very nice under the very sad circumstances. And once again, thank you very much for being very kind and understanding. ♥
