Dear Rick and Kathy Wright, Thank you for honoring my Grandmother. You have given me such a beautiful gift - this is the first time I have seen my grandmother's gravestone.

Transfer of Stewart Parrish
Rick & Kathy~

Thank you so much for creating his memorial and taking the photos. That's what findagrave is all about. His maternal relatives, including his mother & surviving brother, live nowhere near SC. That's why I like virtual cemeteries.

I appreciate the quick transfer as well!

Wilburn Hammond
You and Kathy left flowers on the F/G Mem for Wilburn Hammond. From the looks of your profile page, you probably are not related or any any other way connected to Wilburn. I had to try - if you have additional info, contact me Thanks.

Baby brother
Thank you for taking & posting the photo of my baby brother's grave! I've never driven to the cemetery myself, but plan to visit on his 28th birthday this year. To learn that someone had taken the time to photograph his tombstone & post it was special to me! Thanks for honoring his short but precious life in that way.

Jordan Bennett, #43640771
On the memorial above, you show a link to a son, Franklin Marion Bennett, Memorial #33572822 who is buried at Bethlehem Church Cem in Lapine, Montgomery Co., AL. Another person created that person's memorial. In searching census and other records, I don't see any connection between the parents and child. Do you know where you found the link between parents and child? THANKS so much for your efforts on

George Lester Gaddy-#43468281
Rick & Kathy,
I'm just wondering if you are related to all the Gaddy memorials you created at Evergreen Cemetery, Chester, SC. I'm trying to determine if George Lester Gaddy, #43468281, is the George L. Gaddy in the 1940 US Census in Chester, Chester County, South Carolina... with wife Cora and daughters Jean and Helen. If so, I can get his daughter Jean O. Gaddy Davis linked to him. I think his wife Cora and other daughter Helen are at this cemetery also.

Jason Rockholt
Thanks for connecting Jason Rockholt with his children. One of my genealogical dreams is finding the burial sites of Jason's two wives. I am sure they are buried somewhere in Chester County!

Memorial Park
I just sent this to Cev: I don't know if you knew this or not, but there used to be two files for this cemetery (the other had only a few hundred graves, I think). I just checked, and the other is gone so someone got Find A Grave to combine them. In the process they didn't merge all of the memorials. I had to delete maybe 12 of mine because Richard Adams had made them earlier on the other file. I'm glad they did that.

Flossie Absher
Hi Rick & Kathy

The date of death for Flossie Absher is not correct. She died on January 1, 2009. I'm 100% certain this is correct. I know this family personally and I attended Flossie's funeral. I'm looking at a copy of the funeral home card that was available at the funeral home during visitation.

Amanda MacDermaid
R.B. Turney
Any direct relatives of R.B. Turney? I saw a Raymond B Turney posted. My grandfather Bill MacDermaid has some pictures of an "R.B. Turney taken at Eibsee, Garmisch" in 1945. WWII pics. One of the pictures says he's an NCO from South Carolina. Thought his family would like to see the pictures, if it's the correct person.

Gary S. Brackett, Jr
It took me forever to finally get here, but I'm hoping you can help!!!

My name is Gary S. Brackett, Jr, and I am the grandson of Dessie Rae Gambrell Suttles; my mom is her eldest daughter Patricia Ann Suttles. I have been on once before but never could gather much. However, recently, I have come back and WOW. I have learned that The Gambrells go further back than the mysterious John Gambrell of 1755 (from papers some man gave my grandmother back in the 80s with family trees attached and her line highlighted). I'm looking for more, more, more and MORE information on any related people and storied. I have now found my passion: Any family information you may like to share would be wonderful. I can also share information as well. Unfortunately, my grandmother had her mind on other things rather than THIS life and Family Tree. I do remember vague conversations back in the 70s and 80s in which I recall family names like Shaw, Long, Merritt, Strickland, et. al. I noticed "Shaw" listed in relation to you and was curious. My email is where you can reach me ad infinitum. Please write!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'd love to chat pen pal style if nothing else, Thank you for your time, and R.I.P. Grover J. Gambrell (I think my grandmother called you Jack but I'm not sure. Let me know!!!
