I have dictated both of my postings. Somehow in that last email it typed the word Clara instead of a period. That word Clara was not supposed to be in that email so ignore it please.

William George Condrey
It gets even more confusing. I just found this record:

Virginia, Select Marriages, 1785-1940 about Gilbert Condrey
Name: Gilbert Condrey
Gender: Male
Spouse: Nancy
Child: George Edward Condrey

I think both of us agree that William George Condrey's death certificate shows his parents as Gilbert and Nancy but those death certificate records are at the mercy of those giving the information. What do you think? I don't know whether this helps or hurts as far as what I am looking for Clara

William George Condrey and William J. Condrey
Are you the person who gets messages when we make a suggestion under the Edit tab on one of your pages? I just left this message and hope someone can help me. Thank you

Do you know the relationship between William George Condrey and William J. Condrey? I know Wiley's death certificate says William George is the father but William J. shows as the father in the 1920 census. The website below shows some version of William Julis Condrey as the father for every other child shown in that 1920 census. The father's name is shown as William J. or as W.J. or William Julis. Interestingly, Wiley's name does not show here at all and neither does William George Condrey. I just kind of feel like I am stuck in my genealogy until I figure this out. I do not know how to do that. Also, William J. is married to Florence, not William George. Can you help at all? I am hoping you know the relationship between these two men. Thank you for any help you can give and for all the work you do volunteering for so many thru Find A Grave.

Erastus Beedle, Bourbon, IL Cemetery

I followed up to try to determine what location Erastus was placed in relative to is other family members. I contacted Odd Fellows in Mattoon, IL. They have kept no burial records other than for the own cemetery located on their grounds. The gave me the number for their Master Group in Lincoln. I called them and they informed me they do not keep records of burials. So that is as far as I can go for you. Hope this was helpful.

Lenora Summerville Frazier
Jane, I'm hoping you can hep with a problem. Lenora's death certificate lists her parents are Robert Summerville and Adelaide Todd. Problem is, Adelaide Todd was Robert's mother, not his wife. His wife's name was Jane. And according to the 1850 census, there was no daughter named Lenore. There was an Allison and an Eliza. In 1860 Lenore (age 15) is living with the William McCord family (His wife, Nancy was a Summerville but the daughter of John Summerville and Christian Adelaide Todd.)

I can't figure out if this is a daughter of Robert and Jane's that wasn't listed on the 1850, if it's their daughter Allison, or John and Christian Adelaide's daughter.

Any clues, suggestions, aspirin?

Hi Jane you need to be more specific as to how the Ballew brothers memorials are duplicates. Please supply the Find A Grave # of the originals. Thanks

Thank you Jane, Mary Ann's husband is John Sherwood Bowman # 100036852. If you would link them I would appreciate it. I think the Strain Cemetery has been called by many names. Just something else to confuse us. :))
thanks for your help

Mary Ann Stiwinter Bowman#131088760
I visited Walnut Creek and Strain cemeteries last week-end. There seems to be some confusion on quite a few Death Certificate, where these two cemeteries are named. Strain cemetery is about 3 miles from Walnut Creek and it is a lot older cemetery. I agree with Gloria Jennings, I believe Mary Ann is buried next to her husband at Strain. Right next to John Bowman is a rock marker that looks like the one John has. John's marked is barely readable and the one next to him is unreadable, but I believe Mary Ann would be buried next to her husband. There are a lot of Stiwinter's buried at Strain. I made a memorial for Mary Ann at Strain Cemetery, before I realized you already had one for her. If you do not mind I am going to leave the memorial I made at Strain. If you are opposed to this I will remove it, just let me know. Mary Ann would be my 1st cousin a few times removed.

F.A.G. #131088760 - Mary Ann Stiwinter Bowman
Hi Jane,
Mary Ann is listed as being in Walnut Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, However, there is no Bowman or Stiwinter grave there, nor any unmarked graves there. Some of her descendants believe she is at Strain Cemetery where her husband is buried, but she is not listed as being there.

Hi Jane,

Okay, I always like to ask if somebody wants a transfer. Let me know any time I can help with links or info. Have a nice day!

Mary Enzor Smith
Jean Howard/Greenwood Cemetery
Jane, I checked the memorial for Jean Howard. It is not a duplicate as it was created on August 2013. However, there are three other memorials created for her in 2014 by the same person. I am always glad to transfer memorials when requested, even outside F.A.G. guidelines. I haven't received a request for a transfer but will be happy to do so.

Regards, Mary

Amzi Williamson
Have you ever seen a grave marker for Amzi Williamson in the Steele Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery? He was married to Susan Hayes Williamson. Neither are listed in the Steele Creek cemetery records book. If you have, what section of the cemetery are they located?

Thank you for the updates on these memorials. If I have them listed in a section it means I have a photo of the grave. However, I currently am working off three computers. The pictures for this memorial are on my older computer. Have a backlog of over 3,000 pictures for Carolina Park. I use my time when uploading pictures to do links, etc. You've helped with this step. Thanks,
