I will gladly transfer her memorial to you. Maple Hill has online records with two databases. One is transcribed from the cemetery records and the other (the burial marker database) was created by volunteers who walked the older parts of the cemetery several years ago to try to capture some of the many people who are not listed in the records. Since both databases are incomplete, I use both to capture as many people as possible. Minnie appeared in both databases which means she does have a marker. You can submit a photo request to have someone take a picture for you. There are several people photographing Maple Hill.

Take care,
Heather

RE: jlong
Okay, Diane,
It looks like you will have to contact them; When I clicked on the "info@findagrave.com", my computer could not connect, because "My default mail client is not properly installed"--seems I have another problem to fix. Sorry!!

I believe you were the one I communicated with concerning Mary Jane Moyer Carr on Ancestry awhile back. Am I right?

Congratulations on the new grandbaby--they're such
precious bundles of joy. No rush on this other thing; loved ones are always more important than records by far.

RE: jlong
Diane, I looked over his memorials, and they are all for Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, where I have been working for the past month or so.

I believe he may have had one of the cemetery directories that was created by the Cosbys a few years ago for Pleasant Ridge Church, and was just copying obituaries to create the memorials. I didn't find any photos he added. Anyway, he was a long way from finished, so I finished them up, and have photographed a large portion of the cemetery--still lack about 40 more photos. I wanted to link the family members together, but I can't get any response from him on the ones he added.

I'm still relatively new as a contributor, so I have never contacted findagrave about anyone. I'll see if I can figure it out--will let you know if I can't.

RE: The Collier updates
Many thanks for your changing to the much earlier and more complete Collier mother's memorial.

Sorry if I seemed to rush too much.

Multiple Requests for Changes
Diana,

I have sent multiple requests for you to revise the linkage to the mother's memorial for the following children's memorials:

Sarah Lou Collier (1882 - 1971)
Find A Grave Memorial# 44504988

Van Stewart Collier (1888 - 1907)
Find A Grave Memorial# 26896252

Frances Ethelyn Collier (1894 - 1969)
Find A Grave Memorial# 17247909

Their mother's correct memorial# 32540855
Sarah Frances "Fannie" Stewart Collier

The present memorial that your three memorials are connected to is a much later duplicate which will be deleted in the next several days. At that time if you have not corrected the linkage to their mother in your three memorials, the present linkages will no longer work.

PLEASE MAKE THESE CORRECTIONS ASAP.

Have you ever received a reply from contributor, jlong, regarding Pleasant Ridge Cemetery? I haven't received any replies or updates to additional info that I have sent him regarding interments in that cemetery. I am wondering if he is inactive? Please let me know if you have
had a reply. Thanks.

RE: George Jefferson Collier
C T Lewis is my cousin. He is retired, and spends a lot of time on genealogy. His mother and my father were brother and sister, so we are descended from the Benjamin Coliier line out of Early County, georgia. He is trying to get pictures for all the Colliers and Spurlocks and other related families in East Texas for Findagrave.

I did look at your line yesterday, and found the info that you mention. Currently, the hypothesis on Benjamin Collier is that his family came from NC to Twiggs County, Georgia, and then to Early County. Have not found a connection to Maryland, where your line seems to come from.

I am sorry, but I do not know much about Slyvanus Collier. My cousin transferred his memorial to me with out my knowledge. I am trying to find info on him. My Collier family is out of SW Georgia. Benjamin Collier (5467604) was the patriarch of the family. I think another cousin of mine has information on Slyvanus Collier, but I might be confusing Sylvester Collier. I will try to look that up.

Collins Family
Hello There! I just wanted to touch base with you to thank you for the informative history of Alfred Clay Collins that you have shared on this website. I am a descendant of his and Mahalia's and am attempting to put all the pieces together. There is a Cemetery in Alabama called Beulah Cemetery where alot of Collins descendants are buried including my Grandparents, Ernest W. Collins & Lillian Ridgway-Collins as well as some of my Grandmother's family, my Daddy, Marshall Ray Collins along with his Brothers, their wives and our cousins. Beulah Cemetery is considered to be our Family Cemetery since so many of our family is buried there and I am anxiously awaiting the opportunity to visit Collinsville Cemetery since through you I have learned that many of our earlier descendants are buried there! Again...thank you for your research and for sharing it!
