For as long as I can remember I've always found peace and serenity in cemeteries. As a child I would walk thru my grandfathers pasture to the family cemetery and just hang out with my family members ~ as an adult ~ I still like to walk around the cemetery.
As for genealogy ~ both sides of my family have very common English names so it's just too confusing for me these days. Maybe one day I'll take the time to try and find out where my people come from.
