BTW---did you notice that Nancy's middle name is 'Marinda' on the headstone, not 'Miranda'?

Of course you may use the photos! They are your family and it was a pleasure to find them and take the photos for you. The monument has a lot of lichen and little things growing on it and it wasn't the easiest to photograph, but I persevered and it's all good! I'm so glad I was able to help! If you need any more pics in Woodland please don't hesitate to ask.

Denise---you very likely did! I didn't read the memorial---just the request! Lesson learned! I'm heading over tomorrow morning if it doesn't rain. Hope I can find them---wish me luck.

RE: Family markers at Hamiota, Part 2
Hi Denise,

I have now finished posting all the photos that I shot at Hamiota Cemetery. Are you sure that Orris Steinburg (1927-2012) is buried there? His wife Constance is buried with her first husband, Willard P. Opruk.

Glad I was able to help with some of your requests.

Sandra

Kathleen Thornton - Hamiota Cemetery
There is a Kathleen Thornton buried beside Mildred (Thornton) Hazlewood in Hamiota Cemetery. Thought she might be related to Mildred.

Hi Denise,

Sure no problem, you can use my photos. I have more to post, likely take me a couple more days. I did not find everyone that had a photo request but I think I was able to do the majority.

I saw that you had a request for Herbert. I looked in the location where Lyda is buried and Herbert must be buried elsewhere in the cemetery

RE: Barrett in Hillside Cemetery
She may be in an unmarked grave. Town hall should be able to tell you if there was a marker placed. If there was, that it may have sunken and I could poke around for it. If there wasn't, I can take a photo of the adjacent plot.

Let me know what you find out.

RE: Barrett in Hillside Cemetery
hello
I've uploaded all the Barrett from Hillside that I photographed. Are you certain she's buried there? I can go back and take another look if you can get plot information from the town hall...

happy to help

RE: Dyson at Elmwood
Hi Denise, thx for your kind words. So, it appears that there are 7 Dyson family members, all interred at this one plot, including David John. Regrettably, only 2 members are shown on the headstone. I 'poked' around in the hopes of finding ground markers to no avail. I also checked the Elmwood database in the event of a findagrave error, but the database shows the same location plot for all Dyson family members. I've provided a link to the database for interest. Hope this clarifies a bit more. Perhaps contacting the office at Elmwood to inquire if a ground marker exists might shed some light, but I'm pretty sure none exist. Cheers Jim

Dyson at Elmwood
Hi Denise, I noticed your last request for David Dyson and comment on the pic not being there after being notified. I'm the one who posted this and cannot explain why the photo is not there for David. I also posted yesterday a pic for David Wesley Dyson and Evelyn and it showed up. Anyway, I wanted just to drop you a note as I'm about to repost and if it doesn't show, let me know. I've experienced a few other anomalies like pic appearing sideways to some users , yet appears perfect to me. So, sorry for the troubles. I should also say that this plot has a few (3+) individuals interred at this plot, but no ground markers. I checked the area. Cheers Jim
