Find a Grave
Hi, I am Bob Huntoon, just giving you a holler, as I was researching some French's that the memorial numbers had disappeared, but I found u and the French's I needed, they are 5th cousins, so it not as bad as it could be, but anyway, some other surnames I see and intertwined my Huntoon line are Fish, Vanskiver, French and Barrett, so Happy Hunting, we might way distantly related, lol....Thank U for all u do...

ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

C.C.Diamond

If you have already received this message, please accept our apologies for the duplicate message.

RE: Sheldrew at Washington Memorial
The location of the grave for Bruce Sheldrew is Vets Sec - Lot 29 - Grave D4. I went there, but found no marker. It's funny - if he was a vet, why did he not get a vet's marker? I thought they were provided free for vets. Maybe someone in his family can still get one for him. Or at least check & see if that's possible. I'll check again when I'm at the cemetery & see whether I simply missed it - I'll ask one of the grounds crew to double check for me. I didn't have time to do that the day I was there.

Edward Murray
Thank you so much for the photo! I saw that his wife's memorial also would be enhanced by a photo--I just put out a photo request for it, and I think yours for Edward would work well for hers too.

RE: Re: James Verstrate
Have added the birth and death information you sent and need one clarification. On Maude Verstrate you have her city of death as Moxee City, Washington State Death Index has it as Yakima City.

Hannah Knight Photo Request
Hi Denise,
There is no headstone for Hannah Knight. She is located in Section H Block 6 Lot 140 between the Bingham and McPherson headstones. We have posted a photo of where her headstone should be. If you would like it removed, let us know and we will remove it.

Open Robert Burr's memorial page.
I do not know if you're aware, but you can click on his headstone picture and it opens to a larger picture, and if you click on it again, it will open to a larger picture yet.
