|Donna Gamble||John James Meyers and mother Emma|
South Side Cemetery has confirmed that Emma is buried there but will not give the date of death. There are too many Emma Martins in the PA Death Indices, I have been sending for the wrong ones. John 1854-1935 is probably buried at the Most Holy Name of Jesus Cemetery, Mt. Troy Road, Reserve Township, Allegheny Co. PA with his 2nd wife, Theresia Schroeffel and her family. Their son died in Dayton, Ohio. He was married the day before his death in a solemnized mass. Thank you for posting the beautiful memorials.

|Doris Hartman||Ellen Melissa Perrine|
I looking for informaztion on Ellen Melissa "Ella" Perrine, daughter of Isaac and Mary Sweat Perrine. Do you have any? Do you know where she is buried? I believe she married Albert E Hogue, had 2 daughters, Isabelle and Susan, Susan dies, she divorced and remarried to John Fred Schaeffer, had a daughter, Erma June, and lived in Pipestone, Pipestone Co, Minnesota. I can't find her after 1910. Someone said she was buried in Center Cemetery, Venango Co, PA, but she isn't in the cemetery book.

|Soon And Very Soon||Samuel Woodhull Struble|
Oops, sorry, I misspelled his name ("Struble," not "Strubel") -- my apologies. If the dates on the Bible and the headstone differ, you could list the earlier date on the memorial and then just leave a note in the bio including the alternate date on the headstone. Just a suggestion.

Left a token for his Angel Day earlier today. :) If the date is incorrect (as your flower token suggests), why not change it on the memorial itself (presuming the family Bible entry is correct)? Is there any way to confirm it?

|Soon And Very Soon||Re: "Danny Boy"|
You're certainly welcome, Beth. I had no idea, actually, about, "Oh Danny (Sonny) Boy"; but I've been watching the Christy Complete Series on DVD a lot lately. In the episode, "The Hunt," David's childhood friend Sissel Jorgensen (actress Stacy Sullivan) gives an emotionally-inspired rendition of it at the piano. It's sort of been running through my mind (you know how sometimes you'll hear a song, commercial jingle, etc., and it "sticks"?); and when I revisited your memorial for your dog recently, it all just seemed to fit together so neatly. :)
Anyway, I'm glad it brought you some solace in the loss of your precious little pooch. Just so you know, I have added you to my Friends list; so I'll be checking in on your memorials more often. Today is my Uncle Henry's birthday. If you could visit his page and leave him a token, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks and God Bless. †

Again thank you. She was my gg grandmother, Myrtle Korena Meyers.
My Meyers family originally came from hanover Germany with my gg grandfather, John Henry Meyers. He was born in 1823, & came to the US in 1949, married a Catherine Hakke. They lived in Chicago until the great fire in 1871. (He was a tailor.) They then moved to a farm near Barrington IL.
The surname was actually MEYER. My great grandfather & two of his brothers added the "S" when they came to Kansas back in the 1890's. Sroty was that there were too many named "Meyer." Well, I'll tell ya an "S" didn't help much! ;-)

|Tam||Very Much Appreciated|
Thank you for being so thoughtful and leaving the cute cow on my gg grandmother's memorial. She would have liked that! She was quite a tough woman operating a 160 acre farm on her own along with raising 4 children under 13 when my gg grandfather died.
I never got to know her, as she died the year I was born, but I feel as though I did through my mother as well as my grandmother whom is also now deceased.

|Soon And Very Soon||Re: Sonny Boy Harrell|
You're most welcome, Beth. :) While visiting your father's memorial (which I had bookmarked some time ago), I saw where you mentioned your little dog's recent passing in a floral tribute. It wasn't difficult to locate him in your listed memorials. I have lost a few pets myself (see memorial for Boo-Boo), and know how difficult their leaving can be, especially when the loss is fresh. They endear themselves to our hearts -- a part of the family, no matter how long or short a time they are with us.
By any chance, did you happen to receive more than one notification from FindAGrave for this memorial sponsorship? I think I might have accidently reloaded the wrong page(s) a time or two with Firefox's Back button while browsing the site. My bio page says I have 23 sponsorships; but there's only eighteen listed... Odd. Oh well, I'll get to the bottom of it. :)
From one Christian to another, I hope you have a wonderful, spiritually-prosperous New Year filled with all God's blessings! Take Care and I look forward to seeing you around FindAGrave more often. :)
