|Robert C. Peurifoy||Eva Purefoy - Oak Hill Cemetery|
Thank you for the photo of Mrs. Purefoys grave. I took the liberty of editing the photo and making it lighter and easier to read. It's your photo but I forgot to list your name. If you would remove your older picture I will list the photo I listed under your name. Let me know if we can work this out.
I'm coming through Talledega in three weeks just to visit some of the site and the cemetery.

|Patti Craig McGuigan||James Sanford & Pollie Ledbetter Sanford|
Thanks so much for adding these two pics. I have about 30 old letters of correspondence that Pollie wrote to her cousin (my Great Grandmother) Pauline Gibson Mills in the 20' & 30's. Pauline lived in Childress, Texas and Pollie in Talledaga, AL. They were trying to establish lineage to join DAR. The letters Pollie wrote were somewhat hysterical, calling relatives idiots for not responding to their enquiries.

You have uploaded a great headstone picture on Bradley GOSS'S Memorial Page #7246000. I was wondering if you would consider also uploading that picture to his wife's page, Velma A. GOSS #7246003. In that way, noone would request a picture of her headtone when one has already been taken for his page. :)
Thank you so much for taking and uploading pictures from your Alabama cemeteries! :)

Thank you for your efforts, photos, and information locating the burial plot for my great great grandparents, Elizabeth and Thomas Harbin. It was such a mystery to have documentation of their burial but no evidence of headstones. You have solved the mystery for us!

David,I check cemetery records this morning and Hiram McDuffy and Salley Hallman Starnes are side by side in the Starnes Family square in Elmwood Cemetery -
Hiram - Square 16, Lot 47S1/2, Grave 7.
Sallie - Square 16, Lot 47S1/2, Grave 8.
They also have three daughters (Bertie, Bessie & Mary) buried in the same family square. There is 7 or eight family squares and a street between them and St. Peters Cemetery.
