Hello Julie,

Trijntje Bottinga (Tena Hisken) was married with Lammert (Lambert) Hisken. She was not a relative of Uilke Bottinga.

kind regards,

Karin

RE: Netherlands Birth information.
The parents of Uilke Bottinga are:
Anne Pier Bottinga & Trijntje Ulkes de Jonge.

Anne & Trijntje had also another son:
Pier Anne Bottinga. Pier was married in Renkum (The Netherlands) with Johanna ter Linden.

I am not sure Anne & Trijntje had more children.

Hi Julie,
Thank you for the transfer of Polly's memorial. You do such a great job that I would never have ask for the transfer, & I don't know of anyone I would rather manage it.
God Bless, Nancy

A leaf on the Jenkins/Payne tree
Related to Altha Lee Stone Gipson (# 58875304)?
Hi,

I saw the note you left on the memorial for Altha Lee Stone Gipson, the daughter of Boss Stone and Mayoma Jenkins, grave. It looks like you may be related to her?

I am researching my Jenkins heritage. My line comes from in and around Hopkins/Caldwell/Henderson/Union/Webster counties. I also have a few relatives that married into the Stone families.

I'm trying to determine if I am related to Altha's mother Mayoma Jenkins, but I can't seem to find concrete evidence of who her parenets were. Might you know?

Thanks so much for all of your work on Find a Grave.

Teresa.

Laura Patten
Thank you for Kirk photos
Thank you so very much for the photos. They are wayyy back in my family tree but I took an interest in them since they never had children and led VERY interesting lives. They worked many years as the matron and superintendent of the Indiana Boys' Institution (School) and Helen was actually attacked by an inmate/student and it was all over the US papers about his escape (led a life of murder and crime and in 1954 was executed for it).

Anyways, Thank you again

J.Sullivan, HI:
I was so impressed with picture of your parents tombstone that I copied it!!! That is a great picture and a greattt idea that you posted it. WOW!!!

I have no idea or desire to use this photo in anyway.
I am just fascinated with cemeteries and tombstones as I think many of us using (and enjoying) Find A Grave are.

Your hard work and talent for writing bios/memorials is appreciated. Just keep up the good work.

I wonder if I may have your permission to use your cemetery photo on my family website. Check it out at www.freienmuth-shortridge.com/shortridge/cemeteries.html. This is how I'd be using the photos and obituaries I find on Find A Grave, with 'used with permission' in the caption.

Thank you.

Did you have a memorial for Rachel Mary Hamlin? I think that's who I wrote to you about. There was a request for a photo of her grave stone and I accidentally photoed the wrong picture there, however, it has been fixed.

The picture showing the "Oak Grove Cemetery" sign should be remove as Mr. Elliott is buried at the Evergreen Cemetery in Girard township.
