|IRISANA||Your reflection (shadow?)|
I was so impressed with picture of your parents tombstone that I copied it!!! That is a great picture and a greattt idea that you posted it. WOW!!!
I have no idea or desire to use this photo in anyway.
I am just fascinated with cemeteries and tombstones as I think many of us using (and enjoying) Find A Grave are.
Your hard work and talent for writing bios/memorials is appreciated. Just keep up the good work.

I wonder if I may have your permission to use your cemetery photo on my family website. Check it out at www.freienmuth-shortridge.com/shortridge/cemeteries.html. This is how I'd be using the photos and obituaries I find on Find A Grave, with 'used with permission' in the caption.

Did you have a memorial for Rachel Mary Hamlin? I think that's who I wrote to you about. There was a request for a photo of her grave stone and I accidentally photoed the wrong picture there, however, it has been fixed.

The picture showing the "Oak Grove Cemetery" sign should be remove as Mr. Elliott is buried at the Evergreen Cemetery in Girard township.

|Angela Miller||Thank you!|
I just wanted to say thank you for putting 1SGT William Everett Bryant on Find A Grave.
I found a picture of him in my Grandmas pictures from her Brother when they were stationed in Texas.
My Great Uncle Harley Norman Gregory went on to Germany but was killed in action. It was important to me that I found one of the men he knew. I've found 4 out of 7 he had pictures of...thank you again so very much!

I think my sister only did one memorial in 2008 and that was for our great grandmother Juliaette Skinner Wilcox - 28398214 - in Pine Grove Cemetery, Corry, PA. On that memorial it just says: Gail. She than got ill, and did not do anymore memorials as far as I know and I don't think she did any others under any other name. When I requested a transfer from Find A Grave per email I mentioned that she was deceased.

|Claire Ehrhart Abel||RE: Levi McClain|
Levi was married to Adeline Wilkinson b 1832 to John N Wilinson and Mary Jane Higginbottham
Levi was born 1833 to Rev Matthew McClain and Emily Swincher
One of their daughters Nettie Frances McClain b 1867 in CA Married Benn Woodruff in 1889 in Boone Co., Ind
She had 4 children - the last was born Dec 27 1895
Nettie died Mar24 1896
Levi placed the children with friends
The last child Ray Otis Woodruff was my cousin's father - he was 40 yrs old before he knew he had siblings or anything about his birth parents.
The 2 other boys Plemmy and Glenn married but died childless. The daughter LaBertha married and adopted a girl Betty Jane Wiggam - they lived in Ohio
I have been trying to connect this family for my cousin - her dad has been gone a long time now
I have Nettie being buried in Zionsville but never found Benn Woodruff
That's about all the information I have

I can't see the marker - can you blow it up?
I wanted to see if his death date is on the stone and I'm not sure which stone is his?

Thank you very much for the reply. Also, thank you for the geneolgy. I didn't know anyone past Charlie and JoAnne. I'm not sure if I've ever met you before. I've been in the Air Force for over 12 years now. Did you go to Martha or Walter's funerals? I was at Walter's. I was in Italy when Martha passed away and I didn't make it home in time. I was sitting in Chicago during her funeral. If you saw my great aunt Willodene, you must have went to my great uncle Wendell's funeral as well. I'm part of the huge Hadley family in Adair County, on my mother's side. Thank you and take care.

Do you know someone I can contact that will give me more info on someone buried there. The Gates, especially John Gates died 1911. I believe he is family and is John Wesley Gates who was originally from Parke County, Indiana. I know the record keeper of the cemetery should have full burial date and perhaps date of birth and next of kin. Your help if any is appreciated.

|Will Mullins||James Gaither Bryant|
I'm looking for some information. I'm fairly certain I'm related to James Gaither Bryant. My great grandmother was Martha Bryant, no middle name. She was born in Adair County on May 16th, 1914 and lived there her entire life. She married Walter Alphonse Hadley in her late teens. Her father's name was Charlie Bryant and her mother was Joanne Bryant. I remember visiting the Loy Cemetery as a kid because we have family buried there. I'm just curious if you have ever heard of Martha, Charlie or Joanne Bryant and if you knew my relation to James Gaither Bryant, if any? Please feel free to email me at email@example.com. Thank you

|Bonnie Shirley Amery||Griffin Buford Wheat #35470716|
We have located a sibling for Griffin Wheat.
Perhaps the written mention of her on his memorial will help someone connect the dots.
Her name is Martha A. (Wheat) McCain.
She is listed on the Missouri Death Certificate of her son, Levi McCain (memorial #111292942).
Martha A. Wheat married David McCain and they are the parents of Levi McCain buried here in Missouri.
That is all that I know. Except, I keep chasing
Shirley ancestors back to Kentucky.
