RE: Elizabeth Moore
You're very welcome! Yes, it was difficult finding the cemetery. Thankfully we pushed on and got lucky. I'm really starting to love finding these old ones though. ;)

Linda Davis
RE: Frances Corbitt (Mrs. John Edwin)
I found her in an old DAR magazine...from the mid-1970's. Anyway, I think it is her. I did request a photo of the grave as many have the NSDAR insignia on theirs.

RE: Compton Family
Judy, I really appreciate the compliment! I have spent many hours on that specific problem and now with the DNA results we know for sure that the kids that researchers placed with Johh Compton III in fact belong to Thomas Compton of Russell. Of course this all started with Hannibal and snowballed since without anyone doing the leg work. We have a core group of about 5 Compton researchers we spend a lot of time researching these families and we feel confident we have most of it figured out!

Here is my website if you haven't seen it already about the Comptons of Russell County, with some mention of the ones from Tazewell!

Thanks again, if you have any questions let me know.

Conley Cemetery Qualla Jackson Co, NC
The Conley's that are buried in this cemetery are relatives of mine. (John W. was my GGG Uncle.) I have some bio information on each would like to have add it to the memorials. Would you prefer that I send it to you or would you transfer the 6 memorials to me? Thanks you.

Sorry, have no idea on the relationship. Happy hunting.

I got your correction for Gertrude Finnegan. Are you related? If so, I can make transfers.

RE: William Lee - Lone Oak Cemetery
I think in the census records he just went by LEE, his father I believe from looking at many records is Ritchison McClendon, and I think Lula Davis is the mother. I believe she was Lula Davis McClendon, but I don't know that even yet. I added her photo as Lula Davis, but she was buried next to Richison McClendon. No wonder these cemetery listings get so complex...

Betty Newman Collins
Hi, thank you for adding Lydia and Garland Haynes. Now if you could please help us find Calvin Hoover and Clara Ethel Haynes. They are Lydia and Garland's children. I was recently up at the cemetery with Esther Ayers and she and Julie Barr could not find a record of them being there. Hoover was born Jan. 28, 1931 and died July 28, 1932. We found this out through Moody's. We haven't had a chance to check on Clara. Could you help. Both are suppose to be buried at Oak Grove. I would really appreciate anything you can help us with. Again thank you so much.

Dear Judy,
You have the correct name of the wife of Charles S. Hearn under the "Spouse" field but the bio for him says he married Ethel Mills. Please correct Ethel to Louisa E. Mills. Thanks, Jerry Hearn

RE: Elizabeth Cramer #23019717
I see what happened. Some one put her into another cemetery. # 27729351. For some reason I thought they were the same. I don't know which one is correct so I guess we should just leave it until we know which one is correct. If you go to your 9717 you can see two names listed on the siblings. Thanks for writing back.Cathy
