|Bear||Parent links please|
Would you please link him to his parents:
George Washington Hammond #81793263
Lola Jane Sparks #81794316
(I don't think I can link him as a child to them on my own.)
Appreciate the help!

Yes, that is what I have been doing. As long as the book is not copy right I can claim the pictures as my own and share them with others. It's obvious that family would NOT have these!! Some are just fantastic!!

|Jane Thomas||Lillian Vogt Ranson|
In the Redden Cemetery of Raleigh, West Virginia, there is at least one error for Lillian Vogt Ranson. Lillian was born in Shady Spring, Raleigh County, West Virginia on this date and to these parents according to the West Virginia Birth Records - and not in the Netherlands. If you have proof to the contrary, I'd like to learn of it.
On the census of 1900 she is listed as Lillian Vogt, in 1910 as Anna L Vogt. In 1919 there was a marriage of Lillian A Vogt to Clyde L Peek, and she is listed as Lillian Peek on the 1920 census in Shady Spring along with her husband, and she is a teacher. In 1930 she is listed in her parents' household again, as Lillian, as a teacher, but without Clyde, and having her maiden name of Vogt again. In 1940, she is still with her parents and under the name Vogt and still teaching.
Burder Ranson, in the census data of 1920 and 1930, is married to a Beatrice, living in Chicago, and have small children. His obituary indicates he was married to Lillian Vogt, and that their children are Woodrow and June. Therefore, I'm confused.
Do you have information that can help me clarify these issues? Is Beatrice also Lillian A Vogt? If so, why is she in 2 locations on the 1930 and 1940 census?

This Macon County Cemetery was once called Goldmine Baptist. If you created this one, please add that as an AKA cemetery name in the title line.
You can see the name on the Family Search record for Callie Keener, if you wish to see it.
