I'm trying to find Tommy Esterline son of Taylor and Louise Esterline and brother to Barbara Ann Hill. Can you help? Can't find a way to leave Gwen a message.

All I know at this point is that his parents were Ben and Elizabeth.

His sisters with Find A Grave Memorials are:
Nell Gregory #20625136
Rose Lee Stone Stanley # 146176036

I have a family document that list these names under Ben and Elizabeth:
James Henry (Jim).

Please check Memorial Park Cemetery (Malden MO - Dunklin County) to see if this is the Zack Pierce (#155354427) you're looking for to match up with your photo request for Emma Pierce (#98201548).

Hi, I am Uncle Bill's niece and I had info to add today however your site did not have the usual F-A-G format so I re-created his memorial. That makes 2 sites so I will leave it up to you to decide to remove your site so that there is not a duplicate. Thank You.

Thanks for your kind message. That was my second trip to the Vincent Cemetery from Georgia. My intent was to locate and photograph every stone I could possibly find. The cemetery is in such bad shape and so overgrown, in a matter of time I'm afraid everything may just become lost. Glad to be of some help.

Your very welcome. That day it nice and cool, so it was ment to be.

In answer to y our first question, Rose Hills is so large that I usually just pick a place and shoot photos of every memorial I can in an hour or so. Then I post those which are not already on Find A Grave, and look on the Rose Hills web site to make sure all the others of that name (Family) are on Find A Grave. If you are looking for family in the Los Angeles area, Forrest Lawn also has a computerized listing.

I would be happy to provide her middle name. However it looks like you have an edit pending for her name and until that is processed, it won't let me do my edit. It's on my radar to edit once your edit clears.

Hi, It looks like the information on this memorial came from a death certificate. I can't find one for him on the Missouri state web site. Could you please let me know where I can find it or possibly send me a copy? Thanks

Thanks for linking her to her mother. Now if we can find Delia Agnes and link her, we'll have all the children that survived to adulthood.

Hello and thanks for the reply. The Love Cemetery where Jennette Quarles' father Eli is just a short distance from my house. It is on private property, so I have not visited it (yet). And I'm no relation to this family, I just became interested in these old settlers after reading a book passed down to me from my great-grandfather called "The History of Craighead County, Arkansas", and did some poking around online.
Here is what has:
Jennette Quarles

Born in Poinsett, Arkansas, USA on 1855 to Elisha Augustus Quarles and Jane Love. Jennette married Robert Jackson Puckett and had 4 children. Jennette married Robert Rodgers Renick and had 4 children. She passed away on 27 Nov 1911 in Campbell, Dunklin, Missouri, USA, and was apparently buried beside her first husband, Robert Puckett.

Jennette's Mother Jane Love was married twice. Once to Eli Quarles, and (I assume) after Eli's death Jane married Asa Puckett. they had no children that I could find a record of.

Jenette Quarles married Robert Puckett. I can't confirm a relation between Robert and Asa Puckett.

The only thing I can figure is, After Jane's 2nd spouse died, she may have moved to MO to live with Jennette, who might have lived in Stoddard, MO at that time , and Jane might have died there. Her body may have been moved back here to LOVE Cemetery here in Bono, AR, to be buried beside her first husband, Eli Quarles. or her stone at Love Cemetery could be a cenotaph, and she could be buried somewhere else. I am just not sure. Sorry I can't be more help! Thanks for writing me. You might try contacting Mr Ronald Coleman, I believe he is a relative of this family, and he's an "expert" on county history and local cemeteries. He maintains Eli Quarles' memorial. His Find A Grave number is #46597544. Here is a link to his page -

Maudie Lee Batson Borders
Maudie Lee Borders was the daughter of Thomas Shepherd(Shep) Batson and Mary Lou Borders, my great grandparents. I believe Maudie's birthdate was probably in 1893 as my grandfather, her brother, was born on June 11, 1894. Maudie was my great aunt, although she died long before I was born. Maudie was the 3rd child of 10 children:

Marion Thomas Batson b.1888 d.1958
Lula Jane Batson Stotts b.1891 d. 1923
Maudie Lee Batson Borders b.1893
William Clifton Batson b.1894 d.1955
Gertrude Mae Batson Elders b.1900 d.1981
Clyde Hazel Batson b.1903 d.?
Etta Geneva Batson Murphy b.1906 d.?
Nancy Marie Batson Brown Davidson b.1909d.2000's
Audrey Dane Batson Becking b.1912 d.?
Artie Batson b.1914 d.1914

Thomas and Mary Lou were married in Henry, TN. I know they moved to MO from Kentucky, but haven't established from where. My aunt says it was from Frankfort, Ky, but I don't know at this time.

I was able to locate an obituary for John Gerencir and I emailed that to you last week. I requested a photo for his gravesite and another volunteer was able to find his headstone along with other family members interred with him (Marion, Charles, Richard & Carol). I have obits for all except for Charles. Would you like me to email them to you?

I received your suggestion to add Ruth's parents to her memorial. I couldn't accept the corrections as the suggestion for Ruth's mother was Ruth herself. I think you copied Ruth's memorial number into the "Mother" space on the edit request. Anyway, Find A Grave wouldn't accept it for obvious reasons. I did manually add Ruth's father and also Lois as her mother. So, basically, her mother and father are added although I had to deny your request in order to accomplish it.

I didn't want you to think I didn't appreciate your suggestion. I do. Thank you.

Best regards,
Jim Bellert

I have had others take photos for me, so I understand.
I am so happy to help out! I also have a photo for Thelma and Cris Clodt that didn't have a memorial. It seems that Cris is a cousin of the rest of the Clodt clan that are buried there at Loma Vista.

Henrietta McLEMORE LINCOLN Riege # 119270032
A Friend:

Just wanted to let you know I was able to locate and photograph the memorials for both Henrietta Riege and Harold John Riege (119960256). According to the staff at Sarasota Memorial there is no record of a W. Lincoln. I did however come across a Peter Carl Riege (119960552) not far from both Henrietta and Harold.

Hope that the photos are to your liking.
