Gravestone Photo Permission
I am happy to see that you photographed the gravestone of Carlos Owen Alford in Friendship Cemetery (Memorial# 8495378).

I would like to add this gravestone photo to the (non-profit) Alford American Family Association's collection of Arkansas Obituaries, where his obituary will be included. You can see the current collection at http://www.alfordassociation.org/OBITS/AROBIT.htm.

May I have your permission to include your gravestone photos? If so, the photo caption will say:

Photo from [cemetery name, city, county, state]—www.findagrave.com
Permission granted by the photographer, KC MO[or your name if you prefer]

And thanks so much for your gravestone photo work!

Best regards,
Pamela Alford Thompson (Find A Grave #47195155)

William Poorboy Memorial Find A Grave Memorial# 112816336
I have not had any luck posting the following through the edit buttons--keep getting an error message.

William "Bill" Poorboy was a member of the Cherokee Nation, an award-winning master woodcarver, creating sculptures influenced by his Native American heritage.

A machinist by trade, parts he machined in 1969 were used on the Apollo 11 spacecraft that carried Neil Armstrong & Buzz Aldrin to the moon. His work for NASA also provided parts used on missions from Mercury through the space shuttle.

RE: Martha Pearson obit
I do have the cemetery listings up to about 1990. A copy was made available to me by one of the board members. I do not have anything on the Martha Pearson who died in 1875. The other one is who I have researched. Thanks again. - dennis

I want to thank you so much for putting my aunt on findagrave. I have been searching for her for years. Would you please transfer her to me as I have information to add to her memorial. Her memorial number is 110948920.

Caroline Goerke Rinner
While searching for Caroline Goerke Rinner on Find-a-Grave, your memorial does not appear as a selection. I fortunately found your memorial on Ancestry.com. I attempted several ways to type in the search on F-a-G request to open the memorial that you created, but was unable to do so.

I recently added the obituary for Caroline Rinner to Find-a-Grave, the other memorial for Caroline. After seeing your F-a-G memorial on Ancestry.com search, I added her obituary to your memorial also.

The reason I am writing to you is because your memorial to Caroline is much more definitive than the other memorial on F-a-G and I think if you alter something in the last name, that Find-a-Grave will locate your memorial on a random search for this person. Best Regards ~ Liz

RE: Grandma Ollie
No, the friend's Grandma Ollie maiden name was Sizemore. Grandma Ollie was Thurmon Johnson's mother.

Thank you so much for helping me clear this up. My friend had said that her Grandma Ollie had been married 3 times and was thinking it was a Johnson and then a Johnston. But I hadn't found Ollie being married to a Johnston.

Thank you again.

Request for Rebecca Bayley
Hello,

I claimed your request for Rebecca Bayley. Since Bluebonnet will not give out plot information to non family members, it may take awhile for me to locate your relative's grave. If you can contact the cemetery and find out at least what garden she is buried in, this would be a great help.

Thank you!

There are still two memorials of the same person so that is what I was addressing--not who "found" the grave or your procedure.

Your Memorial #110947298 for John D. Pinter is a duplicate of Memorial #82275128. Would you consider merging or deleting yours? Thanks.

Thank you for the transfer! You have done a great job of setting it up which, if you are not related, is especially commendable! That you have her photo attached leads me to believe there is a tie between you and her. I promise to take good care of her "page". Kathryn

I meant to ask, too, if I could use the photo of Hazel you have placed on Find A Grave on my Ancestry tree. I would give you as the source of it in a way that anyone transferring it to their family tree would also get your credit with it. Kathryn

Cecil was a very big part in helping us trace the Gordon links of our family. He was the son of Christina Riley Gordon, my husband's great aunt (making him a first cousin 1x removed). I noticed that you had Hazel's memorial. I like to see family members kept together and their memorials managed by a close family member when possible. Ilike what you have done with Hazel's memorial page and would, if you are closely related to them, be glad to transfer his memorial to you.

RE: Clydella Martino,
Good Morning,

Ideally, I would like an inch, or so, of space around the entire marker in the photo to make sure all of the marker shows in the photo. I put these photos in my genealogy files for my kids, grandkids and great-grandkids to have when I am gone. Thanks for understanding me being so picky about the photo.

Have a great day!

Clydella Martino,
Greetings,

The note I send with the photo request asked for an uncropped photo which shows all of the grave marker in the photo and that the photo be e-mailed to me for higher resolution. The top part of the grave marker is cut out in your posted photo. Would you please retake, post and e-mail me a photo which shows all of the grave marker in the photo. This is very inportant to me; otherwise, I would not bother you.

Thank you,
Alex Roller (# 47000413)

I might have been mistaken as to the relationship of the person whose e-mail I received regarding updating the gravestone photos. I sent a note to that affect to you, through an edit concerning the updated gravestone photo. I have not heard back from her yet, as I just sent her notice that I had put the updated photo she requested on Carolyn's memorial, as well as on your memorial for Bobby.
