Randall in Lyndon Ctr
Hi Donna,

I went back today to Lyndon Ctr Cem. and can't believe how I missed those two stones. Brain fart galore! I have put shots up for them but will go back when all the snow is gone and put up some better shots.

Very sorry for the delay!

I was able to get it before this big snow storm we just got. Up until now there hasn't been much snow at all. There were names of the other 3 sides of the stone as well and I'll get back there in the spring to take pics of those.

RE: Lyndon Center Cem.
Hi Donna,

I am having trouble finding Stephen and Anna Randall. I have added all of the Randall's that I have in my records ( I have photographed the entire cemetery). There are photos for all.
If Stephen is indeed buried here maybe it is on the back of his parents. I am pretty good about walking around the stones, but as you can see it is a large cemetery...and brain farts occur! ;)

I can check back when snow melts, or if someone finds an exact location I can check my photos again.

RE: Concord Village Cem.
Morning Donna,

Your very welcome! I had finally finished transcribing my photos for Concord and added all the surname Reed stones I found there. I think any that may be left will be maiden name Reeds that have not added it to their stones.

That was a very well kept cemetery!! Wish they were all like that! Photographed the whole cemetery in one day.

RE: Samuel and Louisa Reed
Morning Donna,

Glad I could be of help in clearing this up! You were not mistaken in your Concord Village site. When I could not find them in Grove and researched them, their Vital Stat. info had them in Concord.
I have not heard back from the original poster yet. Hopefully we can get this fixed.

Samuel and Louise Reed
Hi Donna,

I was trying to fill your request for Samuel (123161005)and Louise(123160599) in Grove Cemetery.
I do not find them there, his parents are there. However, I believe they are both in Concord Village Cemetery. I have added memorials, photos and some links for them.

I will let the manager of Samuel and Louise in Grove and tell her that they are in Concord and offer to transfer those to her (as she had the originals)

I was just filling in my family tree, looking for why my gg Grandfather Boyden's middle name is Wheaton. Amasa was married to my ggg aunt. Still think there is a Wheaton in my ancestry.

Well, Hello cousin.
They are my 9th Great Grandparents, too!
From their son, Josiah Whitcomb, to his daughter, Abigail Whitcomb, to her daughter Martha Ruth White, to her daughter, Thankful Sawyer, to her daughter, Mary "Polly" Norcross to her son, Daniel Norcross Butler to TWO of his daughters, Sarah Ann "Sallie Butler and her sister, Susan Francis Butler..who were BOTH my 2nd great grandmothers..as Susan's grandson was my grandfather, Eddie C Clark and and Sarah "Sallie"s granddaughter was Eunice E Clark, my grandmother. So my mother's parents were second cousins, both descended from them. Whew..got all of that?
I thank you very much for filling me in. I just always hope we can find those headstones..but sometimes it is just too far in the past and too much has happened. Should you wish to exchange trees, I will be happy to send you an invitation.
Best to you,
Cerelle

RE: Hope Cemetery
Donna, Thanks for the welcome aboard. I love helping others with their genealogy quests. I have been help by other Find A Grave contributors, so I'm paying it forward, so to speak.

I have posted the two pictures you requested for Stephen Gates. I also noticed there are others on this gravestone that do not have memorial pages. Specifically, Elizabeth L. (Hurd) Gates, Clarence A Gates and his wife Lillian, and Augustus J. Gages, plus some children that did not live very long. If you would like to create memorial pages for some or all them also, I will post the appropriate pictures. Just let me know if and when they are done. You don't need to create additional photo requests.

Glad I could help. Bob

RE: Clada Fisher Ashley
There you go, Donna, Clada is uploaded to Notre Dame. I noticed that the year of her death has never been carved into her stone. I have noticed that on quite a few stones and I always believed it was included in the original cost of the stone. But that someone in the family has to notify whatever monument company they had purchased the stone from. However, there could be a charge that I'm not aware of...curious that they didn't do it when Brenda was added to the back of the stone. Take care,Laurie

Clada Fisher Ashley
Hi, Donna, it's me again! I figured out the problem with the photos I took at St. Mary's in Fort Covington yesterday...it was my SD card. I guess it's worn out from taking so many gravestone photos and erasing them and re-using it! I will get back there and retake the photos of Loretta and Eva Burnell.

I went to Notre Dame and St. John Bosco today...finally found Robert Ashley and daughter Brenda Ashley LaGrave while looking for another request. I have uploaded their photos to their memorial pages. Then, while uploading the St. John Bosco photos, I read the request for Clada and realized she was Robert Ashley's wife. I read her obituary and saw that her funeral was at Notre Dame but it said burial in St. John Bosco...I checked back on Robert's gravestone photo and there she is with him in Notre Dame!! Just where she should be!

Anyway, you will need to move her from St. John Bosco to Notre Dame (if you are the creator of her memorial site or ask permission). I then can upload the photo to her new page at Notre Dame.

Hope all is well, take care, Laurie

Loretta & Eva Burnell, St. Mary's Cemetery,
Hi, Donna, I visited St. Mary's today and found the graves for Loretta and her daughter Eva. However, did not find Ernest with them. I took the photos, came home and "claimed" your request but I have tried multiple times to "fulfill" the request and the photos won't upload. Something crazy comes up on the screen...a whole page of letters, numbers, and symbols. I hope it isn't a virus that may come thru to my computer. I even went to their memorial pages directly and tried adding the photos from there...same thing. I worked on another cemetery adding photos and it worked smoothly. I can email these photos to you but I'm concerned about whatever was going on. Let me know what you'd like me to do, Laurie

Sheldon Perry
Hi, Donna, I was at St. Joseph's cemetery in Bombay today and looked for this request for Sheldon. He is not on any gravestone there and not listed on the northern ny tombstone transcription site either. There is a Perry family buried there and if he is related, perhaps he is buried there with no marker or inscription.

I also checked the transcriptions for the St. Joseph's (old and new) cemeteries in Malone, NY and he is not listed in either of those.

Hope this helps. Take care, Laurie

You might have noticed, but I also posted several other Dutton's from the same cemetery. H.Maynard and his wife Belle Halle Dutton are immediately to the left of Ruth, Ernest and Gilbert, and to the immediate right is Alice Dutton Emmerson..
Also William Dutton and his wife Edna Austin Dutton, but not too close. This cemetery is bigger than shown in Find A Grave, and eventually I hope to get most of the names listed.
